  1. Hey man! How has everyone been? I had a crazy few years, long story haha Anyways, I'm back now and I made a cool little INTV mirror if anyone wants one? They are about a foot long and made from 100% aluminum composite materials. These colors are a cherrywood (it's metal but designed to look like wood) and a cool unbreakable mirror material (I think it's technical name is HIGH polished aluminum) we use it to make mirrors in rough areas (greyhound bus stations,etc...) If you already know what these signs are about you don't need to read the following, but if not, please read on... These signs are made from 100% aluminum composite material. It is crazy expensive (like $6-$10 a square foot!!) but I get the materials at a discounted price as they are leftovers from construction jobs I have machined the parts for. They are industrial grade building materials that are professionally painted the same quality an automobile is painted at the factory. They are then CNC machined by yours truly. They are fully weather treated and can withstand the harshest climates (I've had several hanging outside for 10+ years now in severe MN weather with zero problems, they still look new) They are heavy duty and very high quality...don't let the low price fool you!! It's not a big money making operation, if I calculated what I made on them (which I purposely do not lol) it would probably be around $5 an hour or so lol. I just do it for fun and bragging rights. I was at a classic gaming show once and someone I've never met before said "hey, that's the guy that makes the cool signs" I couldn't stop smiling... Seriously, I really enjoy making this stuff so let me know if you have any requests If anyone wants one of these the price is $20 shipped for one sign, $30 shipped for two signs and if you want to have a sign party $50 shipped for 5 signs lol. I'm not sure how many I can make, I'm limited to the amount of materials I can purchase...maybe 20 or so? *edit - this is not a pre order, they will ship in the next few days Oh! I will also trade someone a PILE of signs (I got all kinds of stuff or can make custom) for a D2K or DK arcade. I'm starting from scratch again so my collection is abysmal...HELP!! lol Thanks everyone and it's good to be back
  2. Got mine yesterday, this game is amazing. I might order another one, I don't know, just in case mine gets submerged in liquids or something... Anyways, yes, fantastic game!
  3. My guess is one of them is the infamous "red box" version...
  4. Do you have a jaguar system for sale too? (serious, I'm looking for one that won't cost me a testicle...)
  5. Hell yeah! Thanks man Good to see some of the old crew is still around!
  6. Hello everyone I made some cool ET signs out of some left over black and woodgrain sheet aluminum composite stock I purchased from a Library I machined the parts for last year. I think they turned out pretty good. ET always gets such a bad rap...It was straight up one of my favorite games growing up though so I like it. I make lots of ET stuff haha 🙂 If you already know what these signs are about you don't need to read the following, but if not, please read on... They are heavy duty, don't let the low price fool you, they are high quality~! I was at a classic gaming show once and someone I've never met before said "hey, that's the guy that makes the cool signs" I couldn't stop smiling... Seriously, I really enjoy making this stuff. Price is $15 for the sign plus $8 shipping (flat rate, these are heavy duty signs) priority with tracking and insurance. If you want a bunch,or have a cool idea/etc let me know, we can work something out. I'm probably the only machinist out there that will make you a custom one off sign for like 20 bucks so go for it man!! You deserve it Thanks everybody!!
  7. I never even thought of that... we still use land lines at my house but most kids don't have one anymore. What I hate about cell phones is they are not very satisfying to hang up after an argument. Nothing beats jamming that handle down on the receiver and storming off. Just doesn't have the same feeling with a cell phone haha
  8. Ha, I totally remember that 70s green color. Entire kitchens, cars and anything you could imagine had it for a few years there Here is mine...
  9. Ha! Had no idea. I still use a rotary phone...it's not my main phone of course but it's functional and still in use (basement phone)
  10. Are these actually worth money? What about rotary phones? I still have a few...
  11. DUDE!! Now that brings me back! Somewhat, I don't have a laser or plasma cutter (just a CNC router) so I have to use, at a minimum,1/8" graphite bits. This makes "small stuff" not as possible since I need at least 1/8th inch in between every cut/etc... Send me a PM man! You can't see it, but I'm doing my O face right now Man that set up looks great! Ha! I almost forgot about the mirror Omega sign!! Nice No,thank YOU man!! Dude! REV!! Whats up man!! I'm going to stop by and visit soon INTV brotherhood baby!
  12. How's it going Omega?? Hey, do you still have that pic of the sign that shows your entire set up? (TI-99, Desk, controller, etc) Man that was a great photo... hahaha, yeah... You should have seen it before I started peeling the signs off. I hung so many on it the door wouldn't open anymore so I've been slowly removing them I really should have took a picture...
  13. Thanks man! Good to see you too! I know just bought one because of it The game looks sweeeeeeet
  14. Video Game Critic has been around for a LONG time...and I mean a LOOOOOOOONG time! Some of his reviews are more "in depth" than others and he doesn't just hand the "A" grades out (I've seen him give "decent" homebrew games an F grade before)
  15. Hey everyone! How's it going? During my absence I received several PM's for my TI99 aluminum signs (more than any other sign!) so I made a quick small batch if anyone needs one. I had to use the materials I had on hand so they are Bright Silver metallic flake with a deep red (our shop moved so I don't have access to the abundance of materials I used to) I think they turned out pretty cool looking These signs are made from 100% aluminum composite material. It is crazy expensive (like $6-$10 a square foot!!) but I get the materials at a discounted price as they are leftovers from construction jobs I have machined the parts for. They are fully weather treated and can withstand the harshest climates (I've had several hanging outside for 10+ years now in severe MN weather with zero problems, they still look new) They are around 9 inches squared in size. It's not a big money making operation, if I calculated what I made on them (which I purposely do not lol) it would probably be around $5 an hour or so. I just do it for fun and bragging rights. I was at a classic gaming show once and someone I've never met before said "hey, that's the guy that makes the cool signs" I couldn't stop smiling... Price is $15 for the sign plus $8 shipping (flat rate, these are heavy duty signs) priority with tracking and insurance. Let me know if you need one! I made like 5 or so, could probably even make a few more if demand is there. Thanks everyone!
  16. Interesting...I just assumed Lynx due to the smaller size. I'll take some better pics of the PCB,etc tonight after work.
  17. Found this in a box of my friends stuff. I have no lynx to test it, just curious if anyone can tell what game it is? Hoping the "skull tape" might be a clue, maybe a homebrew? If not no big deal, I'll be talking to him soon. Just wondering if it's something special enough that is worth tracking down a Lynx to play it before I have to ship it off to him.
  18. I wanted this game so bad when I was a kid...
  19. Right? I mean, most people know how much they want for something before they sell it...
  20. I bet my stomach thinks ALL potatoes are mashed...

I listen to a podcast called Irish History Podcast. Before the potato famine, most poor Irish people made do with a mostly potato diet with some seaweed and gruel mixed in. The grown men would eat like 12 pounds of taters per day each. I don't think I could eat 12 pounds of anything. lol. But back then, they had to do hard physical labor all day, so they needed the nutrients.
