They couldn't sell it on DC at $50 to make a profit, lol Their bread and butter is the Neo Geo releases (hence the Neo Geo dev team) and that high cost covers their development time (they actually do this is a job, a hobbiest doing things is his spare time would release a game of their quality once a decade at best) Their Neo prices are high, too high for me to play, but justified in my opinion. I agree limited edition is annoying but it;s what the people want man, you gotta give the people what they want if you want to make any money -

Hello So I have been playing around with a few sports games on the ol 360. These usually are not my bag but since I can pick up an old Tiger woods game for literally $1 now I thought I would try a few out. I used to really like baseball games and figured I would pick one up, saw a mlb2k12 at gamestop and grabbed it....only to see the price... $34.99??!! for a sports game that is almost 4 years old? I thought it was mis priced but it was not. I checked ebay and saw the norm for 2k12, 2k13 was $20-$50!! (These are for COMPLETED auctions that actually sold with numerous bids) http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_sacat=0&_nkw=mlb2k12%20xbox%20360&LH_Complete=1&rt=nc&_trksid=p2045573.m1684 http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odkw=mlb2k12+xbox+360&LH_Complete=1&_osacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p2045573.m570.l1313.TR3.TRC1.A0.H0.Xmlb2k13+xbox+360.TRS0&_nkw=mlb2k13+xbox+360&_sacat=0 So...am I missing something here? Why the high price? I thought sports games were always dirt cheap when the next edition was released. Were they insanely low prints or something so they are collectible now? This cant be people that just want to play them, or is it?

If they secure a deal with the Neo geo Dev team to release their Homebrew (well, EXTREMELY professional homebrew) games I have just switched from interested to Fan boy!! The $350 price point I was unaware of, I honestly thought it would be priced in the neighborhood of a Retron 5. I'm broke because I have kids (oh, and I also make nowhere near $40 an hour, lol) but most of us would be lying if we said we didn't spend $350 on video games EASILY over the coarse of a few months. The price point makes me "think" a little more, but I'm still interested and will likely purchase it unless I see a major problem/etc.. depending on finances though I might not get one immediately or I might wait until a "must have" game is released for it....but overall the price point will not stop me completely. Now, Neo Geo dev team games on a cartridge based platform (besides the neo geo of course) is HUGE HUGE HUGE!! I would blindly throw my money, all $350 of it at this thing if Kraut buster is released for it. The AES cart release price for this homebrews is over $400-$500++, something that does not interest me. They do release them on the Dreamcast but honestly, I just don't like the dreamcast and there are rumors that Kraut buster will not get a dreamcast release. Neo Geo dev team released games would be my ticket to an instant purchase. I would purchase all of their older releases re issued on this platform as well, yes, I like their games that much and so do many others Honestly the main draw for me though is I've just become a little bored with what video games have to offer me these days. I still play current gen stuff (well, close to it at least) and I like some of it but none of it gives me a boner like retro stuff does. I hate downloads/etc and that seems to be what a lot of good classic style publishers do now a days, add on content/etc gives your purchase the value of a bic lighter at the end of the day and yes it annoys and detours me from a lot of purchases. The problem with phsyical released retro stuff is I have collected near complete collections of nearly every system there is. I kept the stuff I really liked and now there is nothing left to collect, it's a bit frustrating since it's been such a big hobby for me the last decade or longer but I've been there and done that with all of it. Homebrews scratches the itch, but there are a lot of crappy homebrews, lol. A very well done. solid homebrew release that I felt was money worth spent is not that often. Something like this new console could really get the fire going again, something I could watch videos for upcoming games and get excited, something I could actively be a part of and feel the magic and excitement of with everyone else...I don't know, as each year passes I find less and less to get excited about with classic games. I really hope something like this works (yes, I'm aware many do not like it so far but if anything I've said above connects with you then just think about it) -

Just tell me where to throw my money, I'll probably purchase two -
Thanks man! I try to cut a few decent deals here in the marketplace for folks, you know, support the community, blah blah I got a good deal, I have a ton of spares, figured I would pass em along. I don't know man, my last Brazil experience went bad (homebrew game was lost in the mail) me and you have always had good trades/sales/etc though... If nobody nabs it in a week or so lets talk

Hello, got some 2600 madness here Well, basically a buck per game plus shipping charges $100 shipped for the lot! All are in working condition, all have attached labels and everything is in pretty good shape Thanks!
-
It was paypal, I'm ashamed to admit though in the last 2-3 years I easily have over 10,000 transactions. Is there a way to search specific names?
-
I would also sayRobotron 64 Conkers bad squirrel day (for the sweet mini games)
-
Its actually a 45 record featuring music from Stallones "Over the top"

Have another 100 items for $100 shipped! This will be a giant box that will probably run about 30 just for shipping so overall it's a great deal. Some highlights would be - working N64 system (just needs a controller) - working gba system (needs batteries) - zelda guide books - many cib games (if you see the box it is at least game and box but I believe most are cib) - Intellivoice - double dragon 2 nes - tons of random loose games - awesome sci fi books, records, comics and other nostalgiac awesomeness from the 70's/80's/etc.. $100 SHIPPED! TAKE IT ALL!! dISCLAIMER - All this stuff has been tested at one point or another but a lot of it has sat in my basement for years so it is as-is. The only game I was unable to test was the dreamcast Marvel vs Capcom as I do not own a dreamcast....it is rather scrathced so "maybe" it works, lol, have no idea, Thanks!

That happened to me here also. I bought a 3ds which the seller claimed would have all the 3DS Ambassador games on it (like 20 free games/etc, good ones!) when I got it they were not on there, the seller reformated the system!! I can't for the life of it remember who it was. I think they had that little nyan nyan cat for an avitar, hmmm.. it might have actually been johnny blaze, lol. Man, I have no way to check though, maybe he can chime in although I doubt it, lol, it was a few years ago. I don't want to smear his name without proof, but I'm "pretty sure" the same thing happened to me...

I need your help AtariAge - Narrowing down my collection
Crazy Climber replied to Darkchief117's topic in Atari 2600
As someone who has compulsively tried to make the "perfect" atari collection for over a decade...let me tell you man, its all or nothing. Go for them all (well, all the realistically priced ones) or get a harmony. Once you start thinning the herd its all downhill, until you buy them all again...rinse and repeat -

Advice for how to sell duplicate games
Crazy Climber replied to MrAtariGuy's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
too much work to bother with unless you have hundreds. Hoard them and build an igloo -

Intellivision Congo Bongo with Box and Manual
Crazy Climber replied to PolygonDaily's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
That box is pretty smooooooshed. A lot of them are though. You should take another pic of the top with the flap opened since a lot of these style boxes were literally ripped open. Not saying you are trying to hide damage, just saying thats an important area to inspect on these I think $250-$300 is a fair "forum" price in that condition, but maybe some of the more die hard Intellivision guys can step in
