Ha! Ain't that the truth!!! -
If you ordered multiple items, expect some to be missing and a paypal refund given (and in my case no additional shipping refunded for MANY items not included) he ships once a month as far as I can tell so if you are lucky enough to order right before he ships you will get it at a normal speed, if you order right after, it will take 3-4 weeks...

Hello Had a custom request from a member so I made a few extras in case anyone else is interested. It is a Minecraft creeper set! You get one big green one and two small MIRROR ones for three pieces total. Yes, the small ones are made from mirror! I know nothing of Minecraft by the way, it looks cool though I made 5 sets, I slapped one on my garage, one is for the person that requested it and three are available to anyone else that wants one. Yours for $25 shipped! Other info - for those of you that don't know I work as a CNC machinist. For fun I often make video game related pieces out of the left over aluminum composite materials from jobs we have machined. This stuff is very high grade EXPENSIVE material that has been professionally painted. My asking price would not cover material costs and shipping (let alone time!) but I get a great deal on the left over aluminum. It is not a big money making operation or anything though, I maybe make a few bucks an hour in the end, I just do it for fun Generally when I run out of something I don't make any more as I am limited to what materials I have available. If you are interested in something I have made previously though (click my sig for examples) just ask, if I can make it for you I will Large green one shown in bottom left corner Mirror pieces shown under ET sign Collect them ALL! lol Let me know if you have any questions! Thanks! Let me know if you have any questions, Thanks!

Boulder Dash ROM will not be released
Crazy Climber replied to Rev's topic in Intellivision / Aquarius
Even selling to re-sellers 500 units is VERY impressive! You mean to tell me there are 500 copies of this game out there and I still don't have it! (yes, if it was available for purchase at regular price I would buy it) So, I do think some reasons for this were a lot of Intellivision collectors were typically buying 2 or 3 or more of certain Homebrews. There was not many homebrew games for the Intellivision just a few short years ago so whether it was for "investment" purposes or not I think many collectors and resellers typically bought a few extras seeing the trend with out of print homebrews skyrocketing. I'm not saying it was always purposely for profit, but having some good trade ammo laying around is nice, you never know which game will be the next 4-tris years down the road. If only a handful of games a year are coming out for your favorite system then why not? So, skip ahead a few years and games are popping out of the woodwork, being made with larger prints, they are available longer (not selling out the first week) resellers are not seeing an "immediate" opportunity so they pass on extras. Collectors are having trouble keeping up with all the releases (Intellivision homebrews are expensive) so they just get one and pass on spares... suddenly Homebrews are selling at a normal rate of around 200 units max to fit the realistic demand of collectors. It was bound to happen...seriously 500 D2K arcade? That has to be a record for Homebrews in general, that is a LOT and not an accurate number for typical homebrew sales.... Oh, as far as the "sustaining sales" comment I did not mean to imply you did it purposely, I'm just saying what you did worked to continue sales of your game over a longer period of time. I know this because I personally bought it 3 times, and it was always because of the contest. No, I never actually competed in it but I purchased the game intending to. There had to be others out there that did the same? -
Boulder Dash ROM will not be released
Crazy Climber replied to Rev's topic in Intellivision / Aquarius
out of curiousity...what is the top selling Intellivision homebrew and just how many did it sell? Im just wondering what the expectations were for this to sell "good" how many copies is good? I noticed the last Revolution news letter said Boulder Dash stock was low...it hasnt been that long since it was released so that seems "good" Unless they were they planning an immediate second print? I know Carol sold several hundred...but it had several prints over several years...not too mention better "hype" advertising and continued contests/support to help sales. Im sorry, but the more I think about this Boulder Dash annoucement, well, it just sounds like whining... -

Crazy Climber replied to Rev's topic in Intellivision / Aquarius
I thought this sold in the 200ish copies range? Rev is saying maybe even 300? For a $70 homebrew thats fantastic. MANY atari homebrews dont sell anywhere near that and they are typically $50ish or less. Im guessing with the massive amounts of Intellivision games coming out the multiple copies hoarding has slowed down. 300 copies is damn good... -
