oh man....too small for me that will require a laser cnc, i only have a router and mill (smallest i can cut through is around one 1/8 inch due to the bit thickness) dang, cool idea though. Could maybe do it on a NES or something larger... I have engraving bits that could hit those tolerances but they cant cut through metal for the stencil effect you need unfortunately. Sorry man....

Title says it all, looking for King of the Mountain. It's been recommended to me numerous times from fellow video game enthusiasts, the style of game is right up my alley... one of you guys has to have an extra :) It's the last out of print homebrew I am actively seeking....I have heard a lot of people think it is too hard anyways so why not turn that frustration into cash I can paypal or trade something if that's more your speed. I do have extra out of print homebrews if you want to keep your "stock" full, lol. Just let me know, whats a fair price for this one? $100 shipped? Thanks! - Brian

It's not bad at all. I thought it would be more of a platformer but it more of a Mario vs Donkey kong kind of style if that makes sense. A bunch of one level "puzzle" style worlds/etc.. I mainly wanted to play it with my daughter (personally I'm kind of burned out on Nintendo spin off's, lol) but it was a little too hard for her after a few stages. If you like mario stuff it's right up your alley

Hello For those that don't know I work as a machinist and often make little signs and stuff for my collection. I generally make stuff that I like and want in my room, then make a few extras in case somebody else wants one. The material is crazy expensive at $6 per square foot, my asking price would not even cover material and shipping charges (let alone time!) but I get a great deal on left over materials from jobs we have machined. This is not a big money making operation though, I probably end up making a few bucks an hour of I'm lucky, lol. I do it for fun and to be a part of the scene It's fun for me to make things people like. This time I made the RARE logo. I was thinking about how much I like Conkers bad fur day (honestly probably the only N64 game I actually play, lol) and decided to make a RAREWARE logo sign to hang on my garage (this material is fully weather treated and can be hung outside, I live in MN and our weather is harsh!) It consists of 2 machined pieces, one is a gloss black we used to make a Car dealership. The other is a crazy awesome 2 tone color called orange sunburst. It changes color in direct sunlight from a deep orange metallic to a light bronze metallic and has a heavy metallic flake all through out it. Hard to photograph but trust me, it looks awesome The orange was used to make a Dairy Queen location. The size of the sign is around 8" x 6" I also added two holes to the back to make them easier to hang. I generally just use industrial strength metal tape to slap them on my garage but I realize this is not an option for everyone (especially if you want to move it, lol) the holes make it easily hangable, and moveable These materials come to us professionally painted, then are CNC machined (by yours truly) and then I assemble them using industrial glues and metal tapes. The price is $16 shipped for one, but I can fit 2 in a flat rate mailer so $25 shipped for two if you have a buddy that wants one also Let me know if you have any questions Thanks!

What's your favorite arcade game?
Crazy Climber replied to Floppy Disk's topic in Arcade and Pinball
Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom - Robotron 2084 is a close second but I get tired of it. Indiana Jones I could play all day (and have) - Pinball is a tie between Frankenstein and Black Knight 2000, both solid under rated games (well, BK2K has gained a LOT of popularity this last decade I guess) Favorite arcade conversion....hmmm... I like a lot of the CAVE and SNK stuff because they are SPOT ON conversions for the most part but as far as old school goes I would probably go with one of these - Atari 2600 Moon Patrol - Atari 2600 Stargate (defender 2) - Atari 2600 Crystal Castles (for missing a trackball this is a damn good port) - Sega Genesis Golden Axe - Sega Genesis Ghouls n Ghosts - NES Ghosts n Goblins - NES Commando (those hidden rooms almost make it BETTER than the arcade) - Intellivision Superchef BT (the amount of levels is insane!) Man, there is a ton more but I am drawing a blank...it's really hard to say just one since it depends on what I'm into any given week, lol -

FT/FO: Atari 2600 Ultravision Condor Attack (t handle)
Crazy Climber replied to fcgamer's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
I'm not sure it really makes it "worth" more with the end label, maybe it would but maybe not. Most people do not even know it had one since pretty much ALL of them do not have it, lol. I think it would make it a little more desirable though since people that own one without the end label might want to upgrade I still think this is $100 game....unless you have the box!! Then you have hit the jackpot -
$20ish but thats just my opinion

Any interest in a small B&W TV?
Crazy Climber replied to Silntdoogood's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
Here is the one I got... As luck would have it this is the same exact TV my family owned growing up, so cool to have it back -
Wow, that went for a lot... here I was thinking $75ish or so...
-
NTSC or PAL? Box or no box? All released games or some unreleased games? (some have immies and aggies/homevision/etc..) Any brand name or logo's? Dip switches? Without any of the above info I would guess it's "worth" about $10 but certain things can make it more desirable...

Christmas Carol and Lost Caves
Crazy Climber replied to SoulBuster's topic in Intellivision / Aquarius
If you are lucky you do, lol. The first revision of Beggar Prince (translated game sold by Super Fighter team) had major bugs and the only way to fix them was to purchase the game again (second release) with the bug fixes. -
Do the plastic molds for the 2600 still exist?
Crazy Climber replied to sloth-machine's topic in Atari 2600
Yup! Now, in the OP's defense...I am guessing SoCal Mike has (or has access to) a large enough injection machine but yes, even if the mold is found that would generally be your first major hurdle. Not really something a hobbyist owns, and large companies will not give you the time of day until at least 5k is on the table with HIGH minimum runs. I notice some of the Brazil clones have very similar (if not the same) shape so Brazil might be a good place to start looking for the original -
