  1. There was one for sale on Ebay for a LONG time, it always came up when I was searching for a cart. I don't know if it's still on there or not This game is a little harder to find then you would think. Anyways, you don't really need the manual, it's pretty basic
  2. I've never seen this before, looks like a piece of crap to me
  3. For some reason I can't access this link, I even created an account and it still won't let me Any ideas
  4. My preference would be to allow continues with the very conspicuous caveat that continued games do not count toward high scores. This would allow players a chance to see and attempt higher levels, while at the same time allowing high-score tables to mean something. Excellent idea, that would work for both the player and the owner I agree with that 100%
  5. I've dealt with Eric before and never had any problems, I'm sure it's not as bad as you think man, just my 2 cents Hope it all works out.
  6. I'm not saying this dude is good or bad but all I know is I bought some game cases from him and had zero problems, hope that helps?
  7. But most operators have it on so they can make more $$$$ I would think they would make less money with it on. I would have easily pumped 5 or 10 bucks in it trying to beat the high score. After I saw the option to continue I thought "what a waste of time" Thats just my opinion though, who knows how these kids think today
  8. Atleast it has the option to turn it off, thats not as bad then
  9. I don't think using the word "rare" is as big of a deal as using "one of a kind" but I've already posted too much about this and I don't want to arguee with you, to be honest It doesn't really bother me because I didn't bid on any of them nor do I intend on it. I know what they are and I think most people do, I don't see a problem calling them Rare but "one of a kind" is kind of stretching it if you ask me
  10. I've yet to see anything like it. I would probably buy a few if they were availible somewhere. I always had an idea to make a large wall unit, kind of like the things you see at stores that hold all the posters, but instead of posters put Atari games in it. You could flip through your collection easily and they would stay protected.
  11. It happened to me a lot more when I was younger, mainly on the NES. I never really stressed out on my 2600 though, it always seemed so relaxing to fight off endless waves and keep track of all my high scores. The NES really pissed me off though, many many times Especially games with no continue feature...theres nothing like playing a game for an hour only to run out of lives and have to start from the beggining again
  12. Being able to deal with distractions is part of what makes a true champion. If you learn this skill you will probably be even better (it sounds like you are pretty good now) There will always be people watching and interacting with you in a public place, especially if you are setting some major records on there machines. Most of the time when kids are paying a lot of attention to your game it means they respect you and depending on there age they might even think they are helping you by pushing buttons, etc.. They just want to be a part of whats going on and a lot of the time they don't know any better. Don't get me wrong, some kids can be brats. If you think the kid is purposely trying to ruin your game then you might want to politely inform the manager of what they are doing, this way you won't look like a dick and the kids parents won't want to kill you. Many parents will take there kids side even if there kid is totally in the wrong.
  13. (F-Zero Maximum Velocity) On the turns if you rapidly hit the accelerator (almost like a turbo function) it makes the game much more playable. Kind of sad that you have to resort to a cheat to make the game work but otherwise you are correct, it's just to damn hard. Rapidly hitting the accelerator in F-Zero MV to turn is not a cheat. It's part of the game. It's even in the official F-Zero Maximum Velocity instruction manual. From the manual: I never knew it was in the manual, then again I never owned the manual either. My mistake, I figured it was a cheat to be able to turn corners tight. It's been 15 years since I played the SNES one but I don't remember having to do that on that version, was this a GBA exclusive feature or was it an option on the SNES also and I just forgot about it? I can't remember
  14. So do I but I'm still sleeping alone Get a dog, not only are they cool friends but dog parks are a great place to meet chicks. So is the lake/beach you would walk your dog at. It takes away the pressure of making the first move, the girls come to you and tell you how cute your dog is and then thats your chance to seal the deal. If you don't want a pet then borrow a friends dog
  15. That is with shipping included. Space invaders is kind of like Super Mario bros. for the Atari 2600. Yeah there is a lot of them but there is a lot of demand as well. I just kind of felt bad, stripping so many of them, I guess. I probably still have about 50 each of those in the garage. EDIT: Nope, most Space Invaders carts have died. Thats funny, I use the same COKE racks to stash all of my commons in also. They work great and they are stackable I though I was the only one who thought of that.
  16. Where does the first seller state that about his items? Both are equally vague as far as I could see... One just actually has a description. If you click on the link of completed sales that classics posted in the second post of this thread and then click on the Final Legacy cart that sold for $120 you can see where he says it was a Rare and One of a kind find
  17. -Rare "one of a kind" does kind of imply it's an original prototype to someone who doesn't know any better. I think a lot of people know it's a repro and still bid anyways just because they don't know where to get them. Before I knew about Hozer I almost bid like $70 on a Pepsi Invaders repro, I knew what it was, I just thought it looked cool. Now that I know what a repro is worth I would never pay that much.
  18. His prices have been more than reasonable lately
  19. Does maybe Randy Crihfield have them to make? I actually still own a Hozer list of availible games from 12-25-03 and he says he can not make Elevator Action on it. It's one of the few he won't. Even if he did I doubt he would make it for free for this chump
  20. Bingo, same winner. I thought so, this dude is full of shit.
  21. https://www.atari2600.com/item--Trak-Ball-C...--PROD3891.html 25 bucks is not bad

Kind of sad that you have to resort to a cheat to make the game work but otherwise you are correct, it's just to damn hard. I have also owned ledgends, it was OK but I just didn't get that into it. I lost interest and the game felt very repeatitive, even in story mode. I also paid 5 bucks for it so I wasn't expecting much, it wasn't bad just OK. BTW - My favorite would have to be MarioKart, it's an easy out but it was just done so well on the GBA. I even like it more than the DS version.
  23. You have to be kidding me!!! These dudes need to advertise this mag, I know theres plenty of Gamerooms out there....wow
