  1. I just got a Jag last night! So I'm real happy.

So i figured I'd look at what new Jag games I

might want to get in the near future.

To my surprise Telegames no longer sells games for classic systems.

What happend to all of the Jag games Telegames had in stock?

I hope they didn't end up in a landfill!!!

Did Best Electronics,B&C Computervision or someone else get them?

I was thing of getting Worms someday....

There is a place called www.atarisales.com that sells NIB Jaguar games if your intrested, They dont have Worms though.

  2. Youre damn right Nanostray was hard..

To be honest, its not too particularly hard. I beat it using only one continue on Normal. I have yet to play past chapter 4 on Ikaruga using 4 continues...

Well isnt that special  .........Just Kidding with ya, I thought it was pretty tough myself but I have never been very good at shooters, I think I was spoiled at a young age by the 30 lives trick in Gradius and it was all downhill from then on. I did beat Nanostray on normal but I also exhuasted all of my continues, Did you ever post your score online? I heard that was an option but I never looked in to it, one continues not bad you probably would place pretty high.

  3. Thats one of the places I went to and I did notice the faded TEXT label Adventure for 10 bucks also a very heavy Acti-plaqued Snoopy and the red baron for 20 bucks (Behind the glass like it was something special) and about a hundred horribly faded or ripped commons from 4.00 to 7.00 a piece. Theres a place called Cedar Cliff that has a lot of rare ones but WAY over priced, 45.00 for Star Wars the Arcade game, 200.00 for Texas Chainsaw Massacre, 150.00 for Mr. Do's castle and 150.00 for Q-berts Qubes that was missing about 40% of the label were a few that I remember although credit given for a great selection the condition of most games was pretty poor. I was afraid that there was not much around here and it looks like I may be right, Oh well plenty of online shopping availible. Thanks.

  4. I think the 2.00 price for a common has to to do with the condition of the game. I see all kinds of E.T.'s and Pac-Mans with crappy or faded labels but if your looking for collecting purposes I say any common including Combat, etc. is worth two bucks for a mint copy that you dont already have in your collection. That is the standard price I shoot for. Now for extra copys to be used as bargining pieces I would go .50 to 1.00 maximum and only buy the really nice looking ones.

  5. Hey Atari players, I collect 2600 games and do the majority of my shopping online, I have checked the web for any retail stores in my area that sell classic games and have found one or two but not much. My question is if there is anybody from or familiar with Minnesota that knows any good places to find stuff. I dont expect anyone to give away any secret stash locations but if it is a known store it would be cool if you could help me out. There is alot of commons I need and its kind of fun to go hunt for them and when you include shipping they can get a little over priced on Ebay, etc. Anyways let me know if you can help me out, Thank you.

  6. $180.00 for Cakewalk, (thank you Trade-N-Games) It was a little more than I wanted to spend but at least I will not have to worry about a broken game or crappy packaging or not even getting the game at all (which can happen with Ebay)I have been looking for this one for quite a while, Its not as common as Stronghold contrary to what people say. Overall I was very satisfied with the purchase.

Glad you got it and are happy with It. I had it for a few years and I think I paid about $180 for it on Ebay. IT was replaced with my mint in box Cakewalk that cost me around $500 a few months ago. My 2 big $$ out the door was a complete River Patrol for a little over $1000 and I have around that much also into a Cubicolor.

You see me often now paying big money to finish the collection on a box I need but 90% was in local private deals and I mean deals with many super rare games only cost me a few bucks.

Yes, Thanks again I'll buy from you any time. Excellent packing and honest discriptions and photos of the games. A+

  7. Well, in my case, the most I have spent for an Atari 2600 VIDEO GAME was $4,000 (on some games)- PRIVATELY. I also think I broke the ebay Atari 2600 video game record with Air Raid at $3,305. Man, wtf was I thinking! :| I could have a Porsche by now and circled the globe ten times if I reprioritize my wants in life. Oh well, at least other people are enjoying the money. :)

What did your complete Elis Ladder run if you dont mind me asking.

Sorry, but I promised the seller not state any information on this. I'll tell you this, it wasn't cheap.

I understand, seems like sometimes the hard part of collecting the really rare ones is actually finding a copy for sale. I have never even seen Eli's Ladder or Air Raid for sale, even if I did come up with the bucks to get them.

  8. I'm not sure but I think the Starpath super charger games have some longer attract scenes that even include demos for other games, I've heard.....Never actually owned one.

Because Starpath games were shipped on casette, there was no difficulty or extra cost including multiple programs on one tape. Many if not all Starpath games include demos on the casette following the main program.

I have to buy one of these soon, they sound so cool. Anybody ever make any Home Brews for it?

  9. I bought a crazy little thing at a swap meet style venue that has 10,000 games built in to it. Serious 10,000!!! Of course it only actually has about 3 or 4 hundred the other 9,600 thousand are hacks or the same game with a different name. Its got some cool stuff on it though. Devil World and Badminton for the NES? Dont remember these ones ever being released on a plug and play. Others that I have no Idea what they are as well, Maybe I'll dig it out and start a new post and see if anyone knows anything about it.
