  1. $180.00 for Cakewalk, (thank you Trade-N-Games) It was a little more than I wanted to spend but at least I will not have to worry about a broken game or crappy packaging or not even getting the game at all (which can happen with Ebay)I have been looking for this one for quite a while, Its not as common as Stronghold contrary to what people say. Overall I was very satisfied with the purchase.

  2. Genesis? Genesis? .. don't get me wrong, I like the system.. but I paid literally two bucks for mine, CIB. I paid 5.99 and 10.00 for my OTHER TWO, thinking some friend would want one since they were coming cheap, but no, nope. Nobody wants one.

I recently picked up two 'genesi' (is that how you say that plural?) at a local thrift dump for 4.99 a piece thinking the same thing as you or maybe to try and get some friends into classic gaming. No one was intrested, I think they made so damn many of them that most people that want one already have one.

  3. I have an idea but I have never actually done this so it may or may not work. The best way to explain it would be to think of those large poster racks they have at places like Spencers or music stores, you know the kind that have all the posters behind plexi-glass in a rack you can flip through, kind of like a giant photo album mounted vertically on the wall. If you could make the plexi-glass sheets able to hold Atari games this would be the answer. They would be out of the light, you could view the top label instead of the front and you could hold like a thousand of them in much less space than traditional methods. You should try it and let me know how it goes, I think it would look sweet.

  4. Well, this tactic worked for the guy who sold the 'haunted' NES (which netted him three bills as I recall). A fool and his money and all that....

Looks like it didnt work quite as well for this dude. Haunted VCS, what a joke.

  5. Keep playing this game(Meteos), it can be a little confusing at first and there were a few times I also doubted the 'hype' surrounding this game also but it is totally fun, trust me (even though you dont like Zoo Keeper but that I can understand, not everyone likes that game) The only down side is once you get all the endings and unlock everything you are basicly waiting around ot play multi-player because there is nothing left to do. This was the last game I was so into that I just had to play it constantly. Zoo keeper can be annoying sometimes especially when it comes to getting high scores but heres a tip play on the hard difficulty settings this racks up more points so you can get higher scores. Get first place in all the catogories and you unlock the super hard mode(they call it something else I cant remember it off hand)It is possible though, I've done it. In closing give Meteos and Zoo Keeper a chance both are awesome puzzlers.

  6. I still think fifty bucks for a complete and nice conditioned heavy sixer is not bad at all but sounds like some people disagree with that so maybe it is too much. If they offer some kind of waranty thats even better because Ebay sure doesnt.

  7. Fifty bucks for a complete heavy sixer sounds like a good price, thats about what I paid for mine.

Depends on how you mean complete.

If you mean complete by two standard cx-40 sticks and paddles, a heavy sixer and possibly an original power supply, its a decent deal.

If you mean complete by original paddles and two cx-10 sticks, that's a great deal.

If the hex discs are still on the joysticks, its a steal.

I had no idea the degree of rarity on all these. I was referring to a basic package.

  8. actually the race america has been the hardest ive seen several on ebay with the box but no instructions...the others ive seen in lots or complete..which im probally going to have to buy the games complete to get the manuals...

What about a Race America poster?

  9. Rouge Squadron 2 has been the reason for me buying a gamecube twice. I had to play it again, that game is sweet. I also enjoyed the 2600 Empire Strikes Back quite a bit. The actual Upright Arcade game of Star Wars and E.S.B. both kicked ass. I remember being a kid and waiting in line to play these only to promptly die ( It took a while to get really good at the arcade versions, at least for me) It was worth it to her the digatilized speech, That was pretty cool back then. What a rush.
