  1. Yeah Ive had the ol find a box of super rare Atari carts dream a few times, sometimes I still believe it happened for a few seconds when I wake up and I get excited to go look at them. Then reality hits....bummer.

  2. Just picked up the following....

    Armor Attack

    Bezerk

    Blitz!

    Clean Sweep

    Rip-Off

    Star Trek

It was kind of an all or nothing deal, Ended up around five bucks a piece. I've only played Bezerk, Armor Attack and Blitz!, so far they are cool but I might have to track down some instructions for Blitz! its kind of hard to figure out. I shoul have waited and bought complete versions but I wanted to play now and five bucks seemed fair so I can always get complete versions down the road. Cant wait to put my orders in with Dondzila. Hes got some really cool stuff on his Web site.

  3. Some people have listed brain age what exactly makes the game fun? It looked like a lot of math to me...

Brain Age is fun because its different and you convince yourself that you are doing something good for your brain. Its priced right at twenty bucks and you play it a little each day and chart your brain progress. Its fun to see how much you actually improve as the days go bye. Its a nice break from the norm and is good to play for a few minutes in between games. Supossedly it helps improve overall brain function as well and in my case that couldnt hurt. Give it a try for a week or so and see if you like it.

  4. Both Halloween and Texas CS are impressive finds. Guardian is near impossible but are you kidding me? not one but two malagai carts, holy crap! This has to be make believe. Its not that I dont believe you but when and where did you get a score like that. Just curious.

I don't have any reason to make this stuff up.

I found the first Malagai at a flea market -- reported here using my brother's account name before I signed up at AA, and ebay listing mentioned here (under his ebay account before I started selling stuff there) -- it had a weathered label and I later sold it on ebay for $$$ after I found the nicer one at game shop at a different flea market where I also bought a pile of rarity 4's, 5's and 6's (the vendor there obviously didn't know the value of it :D). That sale paid for the Atari fiber optic sign I found at the end of 2004.

The TCM and Halloween (both with nice labels) came from yet another flea market from another haul. (Whoops, I actually got them for less than I mentioned above.)

The Guardian came from a game shop where my brother and his girlfriend got it -- story here.

Cool stories, you are one lucky guy. I just looked all over this weekend and the best thing I found was a Turmoil :( I wasnt expecting much the shops around my area are real slim pickings lately.

  5. My 2600 is starting to have a problem with the power switch, probably an easy fix but I think I'll just start looking for a 7800. Although I have heard it numerous times I kind of forgot about the backwards compatibility thing. This is cool, the games are pretty cheap in price as well.

  6. Start with Meteos or Tetris DS, these games kick ass, I haved owned every game in your first 2 lots and they all seem like excellent choices, Pac-Pix was nothing special but still has a charm to it. As for your third lot, Madagascar? Come on I have never played it but it sucks, trust me. Whack a Mole is cool but your wrist gets tired after like five minutes from the constant "whacking" Castlevania, Mariokart, Mr. Driller and Trauma Center all are must haves. I didnt see the puzzler ZOO Keeper on your list, it should be, its awesome. Warioware was much to easy but still fun. Puyo Pop kind of sucked because it was either too easy or way too hard, no in between. Dot pay more than ten bucks for Snood 2, fun but basicly the GBA version all over again. I enjoyed Space Invaders, it was nothing special but will hold your intrest and can be purchased for almost nothing. Pick up Super Mario DS if you havent played the 64 version in a while, its fun and has some cool bonus mini games. I think that about covers it, I might have a Partners in Time for sale in a week or so, once I beat it Ill let you know. This ones cool but I liked the GBA one better.
