I'm afraid someone already beat you to it. The only problem is that they tried to SELL it afterwards.http://www.seanbaby.com/nes/w20-18.htm

Ugh. I don't care much for Seanbaby.com. Super Pitfall does suck, but I don't feel it deserves scores THAT low.

I like the 2600 version of the original Breakout better than the arcade one. The better graphics and extra variations make it more fun to play.

For even more "fun," try the PC Engine (Turbografx-16) remake of the very first Ninja Gaiden! It wasn't enhanced at all, except for a little parallax scrolling in the background that adds more confusion than realism to the gameplay.JR
I tried it out. I think the graphics seemed to be more enhanced than the SNES version, but I found it to be a very odd version. The control is somehow slower than the NES one and the music is almost completely different. I acutally like the different music, though. I didn't like it as good as the NES one, but I found it to be decent. IMO, the worst version of Ninja Gaiden is the Genesis version. It tries to mimic some aspects of the arcade game, but is missing many of the better elements. The Genesis version has some strange auto scrolling that hampers gameplay.

I don't understand the point of avoiding games becuase they are kiddie. Some of the best games out there are so called "kiddie games". The GBC has a better screen than both the GB and Game Boy Pocket. It also has some excellent games like Dragon Warrior III, both Zelda Oracle games, Metal Gear Solid/Ghost Babel, Toki Tori, Rayman, a color version of Link's Awakening, the better versions of Joust/Defender (compared to the GB b/w Defender and Joust. GBC Joust/Defender is backwards compatible, but not recommended for older GBs), and more. Also, the colors aren't dark on GBC like they are on the first GBA. Even if you only play b/w GB games on it, the GBC is still a better choice than either the fat boy or the Game Boy Pocket.
GBA SP is also good for playing classic GB/GBC games. GBC games look better on it than on the original GBA thanks to the light. The fact that it plays GBA, GBC, and GB games with great compatibility is very cool.

Out of the 2600 hacks I tried, my favorties are Space Invaders Deluxe, Bottomless Pitfall, and Hack 'em. I like how SI Deluxe simulates the color overlays of the arcade game.

I have been playing games on my Sears Telegames light sixer. I also have a 7800, but I haven't used it in awhile.
