  1. There is the happ p360, which is an optical joystick. The ultimarc u360, which is an analog joystick with a built in encoder that supports 8 buttons. There are various sticks and button with leaf type switches. Finally, there are the micro-leaf switches, which will replace micro-switches on modern buttons with leaf type switches.
  2. Are you really sure that it is a sub-woofer and not just a regular speaker. If you want to keep it original, you could just replace the surround. http://www.parts-express.com/cat/speaker-surround-refoam-kits/328 I replaced a rubber surround on a paradigm speaker and it was fairly easy. There are all kinds of tutorials on the web for that kind of stuff.
  3. The icontrolpad seem to have the most support from developers as far as controller options go, but it's not exact compact or convenient.
  4. The psp was the king of portable emulation until recently. It had a pretty good run considering how far technology has progressed since it was first realeased. It still has better ps1 emulation than any other device out there. If that's important to you and you want to tap into the psp's Fairly large library of quallity original games, then the psp won't disappoint. Overall, it's emulation capability has been surpassed by android devices. I got a new xperia play from amazon about a week ago for $110.00 and I can't think of any other device in it's current price range with built in controls and it's compact form factor that could beat it. As far as phones go, it's outdated, but as a gaming device it's still pretty awesome.
  5. Sinistar! It's practically begging to be ported to the vectrex.
  6. Just like the previous poster stated, it will need new caps. They all will sooner or later, likely sooner. Game gear is a fairly inexpensive system to collect for. You'll likely find a better deal on ebay.
  7. Replacing the analog sticks will certainly help, but someone who understands how variable resistors work will be more qualified than I am to tell you why.
  8. Well Drangonboy. If you would act more civilized and stop throwing tantrums and threatening to leave any time someone questions your belief of the SNES's superiority, then you would be treated better while you were there. Who the hell is Dragonboy? ask and you shall receive.

  10. I think there may be someone on the neo geo forums that has that same cabinet but converted to neo geo.
  11. Looks like it used to be a merit machine, like a pit boss or a trivia wiz. You could swap out the board with a 60 in 1, but you would have to figure out how to rotate the monitor somehow and change the control panel layout.
  12. Where are all of these child raping games everyone seems to be speaking of? It seems like I've been waiting ages for Clergymen child fondler 2. I'm starting to think that game's never coming out.
  13. Sega created a monster with the genesis. It just won't die. Genesis = immortal
  14. It's very possible. There is an arcade version with the same name that was made in 91 that's playable in mame. The main difference is you manipulate the balls direction of travel by rotating the play field.
  15. I'd be interested in the "shoplifter" board, but it's probably just a misprint.
  16. Damn! You could buy a megatouch force, upgrade it to the latest software and still have a couple thousand left over.
  17. It doesn't seem like a picture would cause anything like that to happen. If it has been bricked, the power LED and screen backlight should still come on. If it powers on every time, but boots to the operating system randomly, than you could have a semi-brick, which could be repaired with the pandora battery.
  18. You either have to connect the hard drive directly to your computer, or transfer the game to the ps2 over a network connection
  19. I was talking about the vectrex in the video. I've read on one of the vectrex sites that autofire is possible. If the vectrex in the video had some kind of autofire mod, the person who made it probably would have shown it.
  20. I don't think that vectrex has autofire. It just seems like the camera may be too slow.
