  1. Yeah, the orange light just means that the A/V cable wasn't plugged in.
  2. I just seen this one. http://watertown.craigslist.org/ele/1026854179.html Does nintendo even make money from games anymore?
  3. If you've got a somewhat decent pc, you should try trackmania nations. It's a free racing game that you can check out here. http://www.trackmania.com/en/index.php?lan...amp;rub=nations It's surprising how fully featured this game is considering it's free. It's based more on beating track times than actual head to head racing, but it does have an online racing mode if that's what you're looking for. It's also got an online leaderboard if you want to compare your track times with everyone else and includes a track editor so you can create your own tracks and share them online. This game is worth checking out, especially if you like free stuff. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aSAeN83-9-M
  4. Mameox on the xbox supports lightguns. I've played a few games of police trainer, zombie raid, letheal justice, and zero point with the madcatz blaster.
  5. I've played that a couple of times at an arcade nearby. It's fun, but not $2.00 per play fun. It reminds me of ranger mission on the atomiswave, but with a cooler gun.
  6. #1 $60.00 for a tetris plus jamma board - It's not fully emulated in MAME yet, so I think I got my money's worth. #2 $50.00 for a complete 32x blackthorne - I got it about 6 months ago and still haven't beaten it. That wasteland level just kicks my ass, so I end up just turning it off and leaving it alone for a couple of weeks. I may beat it someday. #3 $45.00 for a atari tetris jamma board - It's amazing how small this board is compared to most other arcade boards. I try to keep a limit of $100.00 for a single game, but that may change if I try to go for a legit MVS pulstar. I alway's get outbid by the conversionists on that one. The last time, I stopped bidding at $85.00.
  7. I used to have the xbox version of that screen. Buying an adapter for that crap would be a waste of your money.
  8. I agree. I much prefer nursing home based combat games. Oh, PTA meeting based combat games are pretty cool too. Can't really forget about homeless shelter based combat games, or social security branch based combat games either.
  9. Flash carts are great for classic systems that are no longer supported, but are the devil for modern systems like the gba and the ds. It's never been so easy to steal games for a modern system and the console manufacturers know this and are actively trying to prevent it. It's no wonder that game companies are abandoning phisical media and are actively trying to force a pay for play model upon us.
  10. You should put a "none" option in the poll since all three systems are pretty weak in comparison to the gaming pc.
  11. I had the same problem, and there is a solution for it, if you have custom firmware. If you can find someone that will flash your psp for you, you can try this. http://www.psp-hacks.com/tag/fusa/ I spent a few hours trying it out and it works alright, but the novelty of it wears off quickly.
  12. An atari tetris pcb would work perfect in that cabinet as well. It's got the same jamma pinout and control panel layout. Or you could get a multi jamma adapter and swap between the games with the press of a button.
  13. If you like racing games, you should try trackmania nations. You can download it for free from the website. http://www.trackmanianations.com/indexUk.php
  14. Wow! The dsi Nintendo couldn't get any closer to infringing on apple's trademarks without straight up admitting to it.
  15. You should try Trackmania Nations. It's not really a simulation, but does have a lot of rally style tracks. If you have a somewhat modern PC, you can download it free from the website, or through steam. http://www.trackmania.com/en/ There's also a track editor and you can race against others online. Did I also mention that it's free? Oh, it's free, and you don't have to pay for it, so even if you don't like it, it's not like you wasted money. If you have even the slightest intrest in racing games, you should try this out.
  16. What do you mean by early? I really like patriots on the vectrex.
  17. Regardless of the poor service on behalf of the seller, since you used the "buy it now" option in the second auction, you are required to pay for that item right then. Since you did not, the seller can report you as a non paying bidder. However, the seller still has to ship the first item that you paid for. Sounds like both of you got each other by the balls there.
  18. Thanks for that... image. Anyway, you can find the driver here: http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/gaming/download.mspx Just select your specifications from the drop-down boxes and it should reward you with the appropriate driver. I haven't checked it out yet, but it should work. I've been content with a simple PS style, sans analog, PC controller for a long time, but maybe it's time to upgrade. Edit: I was expecting it, but I just wanted to confirm that you do, in fact, need a wired controller or a wireless receiver. To be absolutely clear, the link above is only for those with wired 360 controllers or the money to spend on a wireless receiver (below.) No problem I just don't see why I need to use that wireless receiver. The cable on the usb charger is plenty long enough to reach my pc that is a couple of feet away and I don't really care about the wireless functionallity. Why can't microsoft just write a driver for it? Windows asks for a driver when I plug the controller in, so I know that the controllers using more than just the +5v and ground signals from the usb port. Oh well, The original xbox s-controller works great. It's one of the best controllers I've ever used... with the exception of the placement of those damned black and white buttons.
  19. I use an original xbox controller to play trackmania united. I had to make a dongle from a breakout cable, so I could plug it into a usb port. It was totally worth it, cause I just couldn't get past certian tracks while using the keyboard. I bought a wireless 360 controller with the play and charge kit from slea-z pawn a while back for $15.00. It looked like someone had wiped their ass with it after eating at a mexican restraunt. I took it apart and cleaned it up and tried to find a driver for it, and bam! It won't work because microsoft want's me to pay $35.00 for a wireless receiver. Well, screw the 360 and it's non HID compliant wireless controller, and screw microsoft for their nickle and diming ways. I'll just stick to using my original xbox controller. Maybe it's better that way.
  20. I think virtua cop 2 supports the gun and also another game that I can't think of right now. I haven't found the fishing controller yet, but would like to. There are a few videos floating aroung the net demonstrating the fishing controller being used to play soul calibur and virtua tennis that you should check out.
  21. Nes: Wayne's World Genesis and SNES: Wayne's World That is all.
  22. Sounds like a power supply issue. seems to happen a lot in the older games.
  23. The supercard sd seems to be the best tool to play stolen games on the GBA or DS. It uses sd cards to store the stolen games so that intellectual property theft can occur on a much larger scale than would be possible on other piracy enabling devices that have a much smaller fixed amount of memory. It also features the abillity to use save states with all of the games that you have stolen over the internet, thereby cheapening the gaming experence even further since the stolen games will lose much of their challange. It also has built in emulators so you can also play your stolen NES, SMS, game boy, and game boy color RoMz as well.
