I bought a tandy laptop at a tagsale in 2005 i believe. I had some Unisys DOS software which was absolutely awful. The last Login was in 1996 until i had used it. I think it was a better paperweight then computer. Stil has a nice charm looking at a screen full of DOS messages .

Is retrogaming dying down - atari specifically?
super_dos_man replied to AtariLeaf's topic in Atari 2600
If anything, I think the classic gaming scene has been GROWING. Just look at the thousands who post here compared to how many posted years ago. -
Who believes in the atari landfill?
super_dos_man replied to 27ace27's topic in Classic Console Discussion
If there is a Landfill, the carts are probably melted or squished. I'm back!, Tim EDIT: I suck at typing.... -
Do you sell RIAA gold records by any chance? Lately I've been searching for them as a present for my father.

The only thing is...The cartoon was announced before the first game was even released, is just based on the Viva Pinata characters which were introduced in the first game and from what I remember reading has dismal ratings, or did when it first came out. My guess is MS was hoping for an instant popular franchise and has been pumping $$$ into it trying to make it so, but hasn't succeeded. A second guess is that the new Party Animal game will tank (Play the demo...It's a lame game) and MS will give up on it. Believe me, I more than anyone hope that the ratings picked up and has a great following. Unfortunately, I don't think it does. The BK "toys" were more than likely to push the new Party Animals game that contains the characters from the first game, but is pretty much an annoying and poorly done mini-game collection. That sucks for the guys at rare... they always make great games that don't sell.

I already have the game, got it as soon as it hit the market. It's an awesome game for sure. Too bad I don't think it did very well. I would have loved to have seen a sequel, but I seriously doubt there will ever be one. (The new Party Animals game isn't really a sequel it's more of an off-shoot) You can't beat free for sure! Yeah I've heard great things about Viva Pinata. Apparently there is a Viva Pinata cartoon series which viva party animals is based off of. This game got many awards for it's family play and creativity so I'm assuming it did well if it has a Tv series, toyline at BK (last month), and a spinoff game. Rare has done it again lol. Peace, Tim

"Lol. Well maybe if he designed games that were actually games instead of giant epileptic seizures, people would actually play them. What? He thought just because he put a game on a successful console for once that people would just flock to him? That pulsing images of J Allard would become all the rage? 3 hearts" Said Shockgamer (3rd comment down on the joystiq article) I 100 percent agree with him.
