Well, I can' argue with the numbers, but on the business channel (CNBC) they had an analyst on explaining how it wasn't really profitable to make games for one console over another... it simply makes more money for developers to put out a big title like NASCAR for every system. I would be very surprised if activision pulls out, but acclaim does not surprise me... they are going down the shitter anyway. EA recently stated that they are commited to producing GameCube games, especially sports titles that take advantage of GBA - GC connectivity. What really pisses me off is that EA went and bought the rights from NASCAR to exclusively publish NASCAR titles... meaning the great PC NASCAR games from Sierra will be no more. I did check the EA site... I believe the NASCAR '04 info is out of date. Surprisingly, they say it will be released for PS1??!? Why PS1 and not the Cube?!?! That doesn't seem possible.

The keyboard was only for the internet access feature. I suspect it will be very collectible one day, as well the "Fishing Reel" and "Zapper". Buy them all up now.

I keep finding conflicting information.. is NASCAR Thunder 2004 coming out for the Cube? Some places say yes and others say no. Considering that EA just bought up all the rights to produce NASCAR title exclusively, that would be pretty stupid not to make it for all consoles.

Agreed. I am looking forward to the PC version. I also have another reason not to need to buy an Xbox.

I was told by the resident moron at my local gamestop the is is Xbox exclusive. However, that has been said many times before only for the title to later be released on PC. I bet it gets released on PC within a year.

Good answer Albert. I did not even consider backwards compatability... ...it hurts me to admit it, but PS2 might be the best choice here.

I try to make a TRU trip about once a month. I can usually pick-up a GameCube game or two for $10 - $15 and they always seem to have some good deals on GBA stuff.

I would have to go SNES. There are a lot of high quality games for that system that I have yet to beat.

Not trying to start one of those "which is better debates", but I have to admit I have had some serious quality issues with Sony and Playstation, and we all know how crappy Microsoft is.... that helped me decide to buy a Cube. Aside from the occasional blinking screen on the NES, I have never had a Nintendo System break on me, save my GameBoy which I dropped.

Oh, I agree... there are a few good titles out there. But so many of them are remakes... it just gets on my nerves when I get bored with video games.

My understanding is that although Microsoft is healty, the Xbox is losing Money.... Microsoft share holders probably won't tolerate that forever. Nintendo is still profitable however.... why would they leave?

No, to be honnest I don even think I have played some of them once. I just collect them. On average I estimate I pay an average price of $15 a game. I usually buy one or two games a week.

I will have to check out BurnOut 2, I am also looking forward to F-Zero. I am a big fan of that series. There is also a Corvette Racing Game bt THQ coming out towads the end of the year... looking forward to that as well!
