A previous post mentioned the industry remerging with Nintendo, but do not for get the Coin-Ops!
Dragon's Lair had a lot to do with reviving the depressed video game industry.

You know, it would have been nice had they included a case with a label the said Game Boy Player or something..... GRRR!!!
Although I do love the Player!

You are in luck! Fullerton is about 5 miles north of Santa Ana, and you will probably pass through it. Metro Link is a good way to go as well, the station is right across the street from the arcade.

-
Well.... you can make it on your way, but not directly on your way. Fullerton is right next to Anahiem (Disneyland). About a half hour from LA if traffic is good. What Freeways will you be using between LA and SD? I can get you some directions if you like. The Regan Years is only about 1 mile North from the 91 Freeway.

COuld it be VintageGamer.com?
Be advised, it is being re-constructed at the moment.

I think Mega Man Fan and Ze_ro are both right on the money here. (no pun intended) GameStop inflates their prices terribly... is that wrong? C'mon, Tyson Punch out is not rare, but the still charge $14 for it. Same with FF3... not rare, but desirable, so they charge $40 for it. In some indutries that would be criminal... so prices a regualted by the government. But alas.... video games are not regulated, (except for those damn ratings!) so we the consumers get to deal with price gouging.
Does anyone honnestly believe that the $50 price tag for a new game is really warranted? Granted employees need to be paid and companies need to profit, but $50 for a compact disc is stupid, is it not? Movie DVDs only cost about $20 and are much more expensive to create than a video game. Just my little ovbservation.
With regaurds to people who brag about a good deal they got.... well it depends. If you are a collector, then you should just be satisfied with your purchase. If this is your business, then you should enjoy your money. I do both... I didn't really need a Sealed FF3, but I bought it anyway because I knew I could get a profit.... the proceeds went to help support VintageGamer.com. I brag about making a profit at times, but usually only in reguards to the stockmarket.

I have heard of this cart, but have never seen it. I would love to see a pic if you can post one. To the best of my knowledge, they were all released in Japan and few made it this way. I can't give you a good idea on rarity... what is an uncommon JAP cart here, might be super common over there. Sorry, but I just don't know.
As far as value.... I am not positive. I would suspect it would fetch about $40 - $50 on ebay.... but ebay has been proven to be very ficckle on stuff.
Hope that helps.

Thanks for the input.... if I see it at a good price I will pick it up, but I am not going out of my way to get it.

I enjoyed UO and felt I got my moneys worth when I played. As for Galaxies, the idea of only getting one cheracter per server and a pretty strick skill cap is what turns me off. Otherwise I would probably get it.
-
Okay, so some people like it and some people don't. Is it worth getting for my 64? I never played it before and now I am curious.
-
I never played the third one, but I loved the first two. I still have the promo VHS nintendo sent me for the original. The second one was great.
Yes, DKC was what spawned the rendered graphics craze and inspired Vector Man.

I am up to 64 GameCube Games! I am also proud to say I got every single one of them brand new. I am done buying till September.
-
VintageGamer.com will have some info on accessories in the future.
In the meantime, two cases come to mind.... can you post a picture? If so, I can probably tell you something.
-
It is up to $40.... I think the reserve will be met.

I planned my Vegas Vacation last year to coincide with CGE on purpose. I enjoyed gambling and have been back once since CGE2K2. I have got to say I probably liked gambling because I won money.
Anyway, I have not been to Philly, although I plan to try and make the trip in '04. As for CGE, I spent a good 3 or 4 hours there on Sunday last year. I got some good deals on games and generally liked the show. The museum was very cool! Hotel rates are not too bad as long as you stay away from the big hotels on the strip. If you stay at stateline (California/Nevada boarder) it is only about $20 -$30 a night and only about a half hour from Vegas. Since laster year was my first Vegas experience, I wanted to stay on the strip so we opted to get a room at the Flamingo. (I felt it was worth it)
Besides the whole "Vagas Thing" I can think of one more reason for you to go to CGE this year.... VintageGamer.com will be there! I have requested a booth next to or across from DP or AA.

I wonder if Amazon actually has them.... I have ordered books from them before only to get an e-mail a couple of days later saying that the item is backordered or out of stock or out of print..... regaurdless that the website says they have them.
-
There is a thread about Cubivore in the ebay forum.... some people seem to be able to still find it.... although aside from the ones my friend bought, I have not seen it for months.
-
If they are still factory sealed.... I would recommend getting at least one.

-
The info on the Atlus site is old.... I work at Atlus, they are no longer producing it. That is also how I know the production on this one was pretty low. You might have better luck buying this game online, but none of the Gamestop's or any other stores in my area have this game. Check the Gamestop website.... new copies are no available anymore. I would suggest that you collectors pick-up a copy for your collections.
Just for the record, ther seller is a friend of mine... I am not trying to pimp his stuff for him or anything.
My best guess would place Cubivore at a 7 on a GameCube Rarity scale. It won't be quite as rare as NCAA Basketball 2k3, but it will be difficult to get a hold of.
-
I work as a Game Tester at Atlus. Unfortunately, Cubivore was released before I started working there.... that is kind why I was curious. That is also why I know the production was really low. I have an open game I just got to play, and I got one to keep sealed to sell later.

By "Market, if you mean will it get traffic, then the answer is Yes. But if you are wondering if it will make any money... I can't speak for AA, but VG has never yeilded a dime.

Try posting an advertisement in the MarketPlace over at VintageGamer.net... you may get a couple of good offers. Also, If you put it on ebay, be sure to post it a VG..... we at VG are always looking for fair deals.

Many still seem to be in the $10-$20 range on ebay.... perhaps I should buy a bunch and sell them for $12-$13 on VintageGamer.

I have NASCAR Thunder 2003 and F1 2002.
Are there any good street racers for the cube?
