Nintendo Penguin

So I was GameCrazy tonight, and the wanted $69.99 for an NES and $35.99 for an SNES! That seems quite high to me! I can only assume that since GameStop will no longer be carrying NES and SNES and since there is no other competetion in the area, the can gouge Nintendo prices as there is no other competition. Hmmm..... maybe it is time for me to open up shop!

I have a single Duck Hunt... It plays just like the SMB/DH cart. I have never noticed a difference. Oh, and BTW.... round 24, 350,000+ points. That was a game even Doc Holiday could be proud of!

Re: Fry's Screwed me. Way back in 1997, before I could build my own PC, I bought a Campaq Presario at Frys. Within a day, it was malfunctioning. So, I brought it back and their PC guys looked at it. They did a few test, I dont remember exactly what the problem was, but it was something with the CPU. No big deal I said... just gimme a diferent one. But that was their last Compaq. The offered me an HP, but is was same price and had less HD space and RAM. I said, okay then... I want my money back! THEY WOULD NOT GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK!!! Only store credit, which was unacceptable because they did not have any other good PCs. They gave me the run around for an hour. They said if I wanted my money back, the corporate office would have to mail me a check... about 20 days! Fucking rediculous! I don't remember the circumstances, but for some reason we needed a PC for that coming week really bad. SO I had no choice but to take the damn HP that I didn't want! I still by componets there, because there is nowhere else worth a damn in my area to go to, but I will never buy a PC or anything large there ever agian!

HAHAHA! Well, I was never brave enough to try that game!

As much as I hate Fry's Electronics (ther screwed me on a PC) I have to admit they have good deals on GameCube Games. Although their logic is sometimes flawed.... All-Star Baseball '03 is $49.99 wheras '04 is only $29.99?!?!?!?! So confusing!

Personally, I would prefer to shop at a private store and support the little guy, problem is GameStop put all of the little guys around me out of business... except for one... but they reallt suck too!

Yeah, what happened to wood-grain? Many car companies make you pay extra for dash board wood-grain trim! I think it might be nice to have a wood-grain GameCube!

A phillips #2 should work. I am not sure if it is true, but I was told once that the newer models and the top-loader used on of those * shaped screws. If so, got to the auto parts store... A lot of GM cars use that same patern on the tail light and head light assemblies. Just a thought.

Not a bad thought. I something like that possible though? That would definately be well beyond my (HTML or whatever) capabilities. But, that isn't saying much.

It is getting so that I hate Gamestop more and more! Don't they realie people like the book and the case that goes with the game? I swear... If I had a gaming store would not run it like that. Plus they are phasing out all the NES stuff! This really pisses me off! I bet well run store in a faor location that carried everything (most everything) from Atari to Xbox could turn a better profit than a GameStop. If I had the money, I would give it a try!
