Hi all, I heard this was discontinued by Sega after an extremely short production run.... can anyone confirm this? I tried looking for it in the stores... I finally found one copy after ten stores.

I found this today at Funcoland. The game is unlicensed and I cannot find it in the Digital Press guide... can anyone give me some rarity info on it? Thanks!!

I agree that $3 it terrible. It might be a tad high, but I would pay that if it was something I was looking for. Besides, I am not going to drive across town to save a buck.

So I was a my great aunts house the other day and I opened the closet to see a telstar system. I have never played one of these. This thing is absolutely mint and still in the box. I don't think it has ever been used! The box is in perfect condition! Are these worth anything? Can anyone direct me to a website with more information on these? Thanks!

My local GameStop is a smaller store. This thread really peaked my interested, because the other day I went in there and there was only about 20-25 NES carts... I was awefull! Many of them were duplicates of bad games!!!! I asked the dude behind the counter... he said that people just weren't trading them in... but I have my doubts. I think maybe the small stores are getting rid of them. I went to three other nearby stores and the had tons of games.

Well, Isure hope the new TMNT game isn't 3-D. It has been far to long since I last played a good 2-D game.... plus, I just don't see how a first-person Turtle game could work???

Yes, you should rent it! I disagree with Gamestop 100%. Dragon's Lair 3d deserves at least an 8 or 8.5. I have 25 games for the Cube (good ones too) and this is definately one of my favorites! I enjoyed it much more than Lord of the Rings: Two Towers, Medal of Honor, and Baldors Gate. (By the way, Baluldor Gate was also way under-rated) That is not to say the others were bad games.... I just thought DL3D was better.

Hey, I just checked out what GameSpot.com had to say about Dragon's lair..... they gave it a 5.1 out of 10!!!!!!!! What the hell is that all about!!!!! This was a great game... are they F*UCKING stupid or am I?

I am not 100% sure, but I thought the PS2 version was due out in March. I am 100% positive that it will be released on every system though. I would wait for the PS2 version if I were you. Mark

One, it is a great scale and gives a great description of what you can expect. Two, the AtariAge scale, for lack of a better term, is sort of the "industry standard". Many gamers will instantly recognize the rating system and this will help maintain a consistency throughout the hobby... therefore we felt it would be prudent to use the same system. Some of the older Nintendo rarity guides, like the one composed by Mike Etler in 1996, use a "letter grade" system to define rarity, while that system does work, VintageGamer.net feels the "number" system is more representative of the current market. I am not trying to undermind your original work in any way, it is a really great scale and I would like to adopt it for VintageGamer.net. I know what you mean... I am sure I missed a lot of stuff because I was in a hurry to beat it. Oh, well... I guess I will just have to keep playing it! Darn!

I am glad they are rereleasing Sega Games. It would be ashame if there was never another Sonic game just because Sega no longer has a console.
