  1. The NEW TNN is great! I love being able to watch Star Trek: The Next Generation re-runs.... most Primtime Networks show bite it!
  2. Yes, we would want scans of everything, including the legal mumbojumbo. The only thing that isn't really worth bothering with is any blank pages a the end of the book. Also, please scan using the best resolution possible. We will resize it. Please don't worry about files being to big, my mailbox has about 100 megs of space... should be plenty. With regaurds to Myraid manuals.... Oh my God! We we so worried about finding those.... scans of Myraid manual would be awesome!
  3. If people would be willing to scan their books that would be great! Most people I have dealt with in the past didn't want to waste their time... that is why I did not ask for scans.
  4. What a nice score! I rarely get lucky at the local stores. I found a Sachen game once for $.99... that was pretty cool. Where do you shop Dude?
  5. Oh absolutely! Scans are more than welcome! In the past most people I have dealt with did not want to waste their time scanning a bunch of pictures. If people are willing to scan, that makes my job a lot easier, and saves a ton of time and money! Thanks!
  6. Does the cookbook provide some kind of hack that allows you to play Xbox on the PC? Could that be what he means? I do agree though... most likely bullshit to get attention and more views.
  7. Hi all, I am working on my website (www.vintagegamer.net) right now, and I am having a hell of a time finding license numbers for some of the launch titles like Ice Climbers and 10-Yard Fight! Usually it is printed on the bottom of the label, but non of the launch titles seem to have it. (Duck Hunt, Urban Champion, Pinball) Since Nintendo made the games, the are obviously licensed, but I cnnot find the damn numbers anywhere! Please help! Thanks!
  8. I am selling the following itmes: 1.Smog powered car... and it makes clean air as you drive! 2.A special vitamin-loaded flavor of chocolate that cures cancer and burns fat! 3.A new brand of sneakers that keep you feet from ever getting tired! 4.A brand new Atari game that raises your IQ as you play. Bids start a $20 each!
  9. Well, I am just glad I am not a huge idiot for not understanding that thing.... If it does what he says it does, should he be asking for a lot more money?
  10. Oh Man!!!! I cant beleive I never noticed that!!!! I feel like a fool!!!! Thanks guys!
  11. Hi, If this is a common question, I am very sorry to bother you, but I could not find the answer in the FAQs. How do I get my image added to the gallery?
  12. Yes, if you are a fan or a collecotr, get it. But if you just want to play the games, go for the NES versions.... much cheaper.
  13. Has anyone ever seen on for sale? I probably can't afford it, I am just very interested in any info anyone can give me some information on it. Anyone have a picture of one? [/img]
  14. Sorry, Didn't even think of the server. I wasn't really sure where to post the message, so I posted it a couple of places.
  15. I majored in History, not physics...... but if I remember right..... doesn't everything have to obey the laws of thermodynamics? I'm just not sure I get this thing! Please don't laugh at me..... physics, chemistry, math... just not my things. It has also be about 10 years since I took any science related class. But if anyone wants to have a discussion on the Civil War I will wipe the floor with you!
  16. Hi All, I need NES instruction manuals. Pretty much for any game.... they don't need to be mint, but they sould have minimal wear and little to no writting in them. I need them to scan in for my website, www.vintagegamer.net, and then for my personal collection. If you have some you want to donate, I will be happy to reimburse you for the mailing costs. If you have a large lot you want to sell, I would be interested.... just keep in mind I am a poor person. Please Private Meassage, post a reply, or e-mail me. [email protected]

  19. The Gamestop.com website says they are out of stock, but they will have more in on 2/3/03. Just a heads up incase anyone else wants one. I spent half the day trying to locate some, and then I had to argue with the dude at gamestop... he claims that the "backordered status" on the website is an error and that they will ship on the 3rd of Feb. We will see.
  20. What did everyone thinkn of this game? I just beat it last week and tough it was the best freek'in game for the Cube in 2002. That is saying a lot if you think of the competition. Also, I think it is the best modern game with classic root to be released in a long, long time. Defender and SpyHunter were okay.... and Mario Sunshine was good, but not great. For me, Dragon's Lair 3D raised the bar a couple of levels... what does everyone else think?
  21. Hi, I reserved Skies of Aracadi based on a friends recommendation. We usuallly have pretty similar tastes in games, so I thought I would go for it. Does anyone know anything about this game? I never played the Dreacast version (although I wish I would have) and this will be my fist RPG in a couple of years. Does anyone have any thoughts on this game?
  22. I find this type of thread very interesting. Obviously anyone who posts here at AtariAge has ben around the block once or twice when it comes to Video Games. With as many knowledgable people as we have here, we can't all seem to agree on a system???? This surprises me! Even more surprising is that talking about video game systems anymore is just like arguing about Ford or Chevy! Everyone is a fan of one or the other and they can all give you 50 reasons why theirs is the best. When SNES and Genesis were going at it in the market place, I don't remember this kind of crap going on! Granted, there were no message boards to complain on (okay, I guess there was bulletin boards) but I seem to remember some people having Sega and others having SNES and no one bitching about one or the other. What has become of the industry? VintageGamer P.S. For the record... Chevy all the way! Also, I agree with Macgurl, XBOX bites it! I went the GameCube route only because there are wat to many games that will only be on Nintendo. (Zelda, Mario, Metroid, etc) Anything else I might want (Vice City, Final Fantasy) will be out on the PC eventually, but we will most likely not see Mario Sunshine on PC. That was my reasoning anyway.
  23. Thanks MegaManFan..... I needed a little pick-me-up. Mark
  24. Okay NIntendo fans.... you have spoken.... I have answered. Well.... something like that.... A few months back I was thinking the exactly the same thing you guys were talking about. AtariAge like site for the NES... but alas... no such place existed. Until now.....www.vintagegamer.net - The Official Website of the Nintendo Generation Okay, so I am a little low on content.... but I swear to God... I am working on it. I set aside about 1 or 2 hours a day for VintageGamer.net. One day... I will make that site great.... but I need a pep talk from all my friends here at AtariAge! Thanks!!! Mark
  25. I am working on an NES/Nintendo site with rarity lists and stuff. It is currently a work in progree, but you can view it at: http://www.vintagegamer.net I should have the rest of the NES rarity list up by Sunday. And no, this is not just another copy of Mike Etler's list. I gatheres several lists, including the Digital Press guide, and made my list. 95% of the time I agree wth digital press on rarity, but in some cases I have gone with my own experience in looking for some of these games. Hope this helps.
