Nintendo Penguin replied to Nintendo Penguin's topic in Auction Central
Hi everyone. Well my friends auction has ended. Unfortunately, the high bidder has yet to respond. What gives huh? The guy bids a whole lot of money with like 10 seconds left, and now he won't even respond to my friends e-mails??? That is Bullshit! I hate deadbeat bidders, but I am a little confused, the gu has like 60+ positives! Any suggestions???? Help???? -
Anyone have problems with their Xbox?
Nintendo Penguin replied to JagMX's topic in Modern Console Discussion
My friends have had numerous problems with their Xboxs'..... pretty much all the same stuff you guys are describing. This just confirms my suspicions all the way the the Xbox is yet another crappy microsoft product. GameCube all the way..... I have never had one problem with any Nintendo product. VintageGamer -

Final Fantasy 2 - Brand New/Factory Sealed
Nintendo Penguin replied to Nintendo Penguin's topic in Auction Central
First of all, has my avatar disappeared??? I can't see it. Anyway, I wasn't sure how people would react if I said I knew the seller... I didn't want to seem like some jerk pimping my friends auction. Sorry. Anyway, the game's seal looks good to me. I have several factory sealed SNES games, it is important that you realize that not all SNES games have the seal line on the back of them. The seal is only prsent on SNES games that were manufactured early in the SNES's life span. After a certain point, SNES games no longer had this. Of the 10 sealed SNES games I have, only about three actually have this line that everyone is asking about. All my games (except FF2) were purchased new at Toys'R'Us. Most of them are sealed around the edges just like this Final Fantasy 2. If anyone is interested in the game, I scanned some pictures for my friend last night. (the digital photo on the auction does look kinda crappy.) Anyway, my scan are prett good and they show all the details you would want to see. E-mail my buddy if you want some pics: [email protected] Later all, VintageGamer -
Hi, Okay here the deal with sinshine.... on a scale of 1-10, 10 being the highest, I give it an 8. The game is pretty fun, and I am sure I will enjoy it for quite a while, but every once in a while the camera angle really bugs.... also, the characters in the game should speak rather than using text. All in all Nintendo did a pretty good job. There is even some music and bad guys from the original super mario bros. and mario world. Also, this game could have used a two-player mode. VintageGamer

Hi all, There was a post on the "modern gaming" board about how people store their video games. I am a very avid collector of NES games, how do you guys store them? I just stack them in a big cabinet, but it seems like there must be a better way???? Thanks! Mark

Final Fantasy 2 - Brand New/Factory Sealed
Nintendo Penguin replied to Nintendo Penguin's topic in Auction Central
Hi all, Actually, I know the seller pretty well. He bought the game at the Classic Gaming Expo. It is a bad picture, but I have seen the game and it is truely in great shape. I placed the post in an attempt to help him out with the auction. Anyway, with regaurds to the seal, not all SNES games have that... it depends when they were manufactured. I have several SNES games the do not have, but I know for a fact they are factory sealed because I bought them new at Toys R Us. Anyway, this one does not have it, but you can tell from how it is sealed along the edge that it is a factory seal. Hi, I just got back from Gamestop a few hours ago. The Manager said that he was going to pick-up their shipment at the airport tomarrow, and that I could come in and pick it up a day early if I wanted. I will let everyone know what I think tomarrow afternoon. Also, he said that they would be sold out until sometime after labor day.... I am glad I reserved this one. Mark

Hi. I am looking for a conpy of Cheetahmen II for the NES. The game is made by Active. I would prefer a copy that has a box and manual, but that is not absolutly necessary. Please e-mail me if you have a copy of this game for sale. VintageGamer. [email protected]

Hi all, Okay.... I have been scowering the Internet for hours and I cannot find a SNES game list. I don't really need a rarity list, (although that would be nice) but I do need a VERY complete SNES title list. Does anyone have one, or know where I can find one? Thanks! VintageGamer

I am going to have to go with any of the old Kings Quest or Space Quest games. I miss the old Sierra... although Arcanum was pretty good. VintageGamer

Hi all, Stan Jr. hit the nail on the head. I would prefer to see a straight-up sequel. Also, I dodn't mean specificly for the NES.... if SMB4 came out today for the GC, I would proabably buy it. VintageGamer

Atari does not make one great, look at me... judge me by the size of my joystick do you? And well you should not!

Final Fantasy 2 - Brand New/Factory Sealed
Nintendo Penguin replied to Nintendo Penguin's topic in Auction Central
The "buy it now" price was $400.00. (US) VintageGamer -
Sorry about the Mega Man 7 thing.... I guess that one got passed me somehow. Anyway, I guess you could consider Super Mario World to be SMB4, but personally I wish Nintendo would put out a new mario game in the same spirit of the ld one... and I would like that game to be called Super Mario Bros. 4. Seems like everyone wants to see a Pole Position 3... with today graphics, that could be awesome. I hope someone from INFORGRAMES reads this. Are there anyother sequels you guys would like to see? Final Fantasy 2 - Brand New/Factory Sealed

Hey, its not my auction! I just saw it and thought the good folks here might be interested. Anyway, the $400 is just the "but it now price", the bidding started at $1.00. VintageGamer -
Hi, I thought the 7th Mega Man was mega man X? (I am probably wrong thogh) How did you miss pole position 2? It was the launch game with the 7800, not to mention the best racer ever! MArk
-
Is it just me or would anyone else like to see titles like these: Super Mario Bros. 4 Pole Position III Mega Man 7 etc... You get the idea. Is it just me? I think those could be awesome games. I am just old-fashioned or what? VintageGamer
-
I believe it is actually an unlicensed game. I have it too... its pretty fun. It is a little rare, you can probably find it on ebay eventually, but I doubt you will see it a gamestop or funcoland.
