  1. Hi all. I totally realize I am the new guy around here, and I am not going to express my feelings using harsh words. (But believe me they did cross my mind.) Anyone seen any of those new "Atari" commercials? They all say Infogrames at the end. This is... for lack of a better word.... upsetting! Okay, okay... it really ****IN PISSES ME OFF! I HAVE FOND MEMORIES OF MY ATARI 7800 and Info****s had nothing to do with them. You guys are right, they are trying to change history! I propose we start some kind of letter writting campain or something! If anyone has any ideas I would be happy to help organize it. Also, if anyone is good at making animated gifs, I am sure we would all be more than willing to place a BURN IN HELL INFOGRAMES gif on out personal websites. Please let me know what you think.
  2. I saw one sell on ebay a long while back. I belive it sold for about $320.00. Hope that helps.
  3. I got one you can have if you are willing to pay for the shipping. It has seen a lot of use and it does have a blinking screen every once in a while, It should play perfect everytime if you replace the 72 pin connector. (about $10 on ebay.) Otherwise some of your more worn out games might require a little playing around with to get them to work. Let me knwo if you are interested. Please feel free to e-mail me.
  4. Lemmi, don't get me wrong, I like that game too. I was just surprised to see it on a top 10 list.
  5. Hi all. I was wondering if anyone knows where I could find the original release dates for all the NES games. I have called Nintendo a couple of times and all they do is tranfer me around in circles! I was hoping someone has or knows of a list, or if anyone has any idea where I could find this information? Thanks!
  6. Thanks for the welcome. I was surprised to see Super Dodgeball on the list. Thanks!
  7. Hi all. I am new to AtariAge. I just started collect 7800 stuff and I am a avid NES collector. I was just wondering what everyone out there thinks the 10 best NES game of all time are? Thanks!
  8. I have seen a few Nintendo Protos. Remember that Nintendo of America is Headquartered in Redmond Washington. The problem with findind Nintendo protos is that Nintendo keeps everything under strick lock and key. The American versions of games like Super Mario Bros. were tested here, but I seriously doubt any employees were ever able to smuggle one out of Nintendo.
  9. Hi, It sounds like you may benefit from a new 72 pin connector. (This is the connector that you cartridge slides into.) I was having similar problems and I replaced mine... now it works as good as new. You can probably find one on ebay for about $12, and it only takes about 10-15 minutes to install.
