If it is a Space Shooter (using Zapper) you are thinking of "To The Earth". It is a very underrated Zapper game. Oterwise, it might be MagMax. I harldy remember that one, but I do remember it had a space ship and platforms.

All good things Kepone. Room 34 - The last time I asked Albert about AtariAge, I believe he said the site is over 2 gig and the forums were almost 300 meg. Don't quote me, but I think that is what he said. As you can imagine, my jaw immediately dropped. I then contacted my host to see if a site of that size was even a possibility. I was assured I could be accomodated to upwards of 10 gig. Nice to know.

I didn't get the wrong idea at all. The Forums have been up since March (If you don't count the time I accidentally deleted everything) and we are now at 105 members. I am actually kinda surprised it is that high... I said to mself if I get 10 people a month over the first year, I would consider the forums succesful. Looks like we are well on track to do that. PlayNintendo.com is a big work in progress. My main problems are time and personal stuff. I was real sick for almost half the summer... no work got done then, I also just had a ton of stuff going on then... got to stressed out and got sick. (not fun) On the plus side, lately I have had a ton of time. I have been a scanning fool! The scanner has been working over time... I pretty much have my entire personal library scanned in, look for all that to go up on the site next week. Beyond that, I will have to go out and start buying more games and start relying on good natured folks to send in scans of their own stuff. The only depressing thing is that I have already used 36% of my 250 megs of server space... and the site is not even close to being complete. I will have to upgrade to a dedicated server or something at some point. Hopefully, by time that happens, I will get the occassional check from banner ads and the store will be operational to help offset the costs.

PlayNintendo.com's forum are kinda funky... Since they are my forums I will be the first to admit that I need to fix a couple of things. However, sometimes there will only be a couple of posts in a day and other times there will be lots. Seems to run hot and cold. As for site content, I have been adding stuff everyday since the new look went up. Expect to see a lot more content in the NES section and fixed message boards on October 5. For a site with more active message boards you could check out http://www.nesworld.com. I generally like the site and the forums are usually more active than mine.... but it is no AtariAge.

It was a foriegn exchange screw-up.... not a sales problem. Nothing to worry about here.

Absolutely! I forgot to include it on the current nav bar, but it will be added. At present, I really do not have much game & watch stuff in my personal collection... aside from those keychain things.

Well.. to drive up the price it would have to be extremely rare. You could probably start buying up all the Nintendo Championship Carts and they would increase in value... but that would be very expensive to do. Besided, no gamer who truely loves games would ever destroy a video game... that is just wrong. Kinda like shooting Santa Claus.... you just don't do it!

Really! This is the first I have heard of it. You can't play it on the GC version, or at least not that I have seen.

Ahh, FFVII.... From day one (not counting my Apple IIe) I have been a Nintendo man. When ebayy started getting popular... maybe in about 1996 or 1997 I bought my first Atari system. But the first "modern" or modern at the time non-nintendo system that I bought was the PS1.. and I bought it for FFVII and Star Wars Master of Tetras Kai (<--- Spelling?) Anyway, FFVII had me so enthralled... I was playing it into the wee hours of the morning. The PS1 and FFVII really helped bring me back to console gaming. Somewhere between the SNES and 1999, I had decided that I just liked PC games better... I am still confused.

I never played it on my Dreamcast.... but it is kinda sad.

All good points Starscream. Nintendo definately is not the only fish in the pond anymore. I just can't belive all the people that think Nintendo is going away. I was in Gamestop a couple of nights ago and and there was a conversation that I was ease-dropping in on. A group of customers and one employee were predicting that nintendo would not be around in two years.. I just don't see that. What is with people?!?!

Codemaster is English... Cube sales suck over there anway... doesn't surprise me that they are not supporting the cube. Infogrames... well, don't get me started on the French. Edios and Acclaim haven't made a good game in a while. There is also a fair amount of companies doing GameCube exclusive stuff too.... first thing that comes to mind is Konami with the new Ninja Turtles game. Nintendo is fine. From a business stand-point, yes they have lost market share, but they are making money (a lot of it) and that is what it is all about. Look at it this way, in the 50's and 60's GM was the shit. Over 50% of the US market was theirs... now they have lost market share, but you don't really think brands like Chevy and Cadillac are going anywere, right? Sony and Microsoft are both huge conglomorates... Nintendo is JUST a video game company. Considering this, they are doing just fine. Of course, many of us Nintendo loyalists do long for the days of "Big N" supremecy.

Mega Man Fan hit the nail on the head. SNES Had already been out for almost 2 years when that thing came out... ... I too remember them being like $25 or $35 at WalMart... wish I had stocked up.

A little 411 on me "not liking Atari".... Atari is not really Atari anymore... it is just Inforgrames using Atari's name. I actually love Atari, but only the realy Atari.

Sigh.... You all should know my feelings on this. FUCK THE FOLLOWING: Atari, EA, Midaway, and Accliam Hooray for the following: Konami, Sega, Atlus, Capcom and Lucas Arts.

I did not know what it was or even if it worked. They had no clue either, se the manager said how about $5.00? Seemed fair enough to me. Do Pirates sell for any money? Are their people who actually collect these?
