  1. FORGET THAT SITE!! This guy is the real NES REPRODUCTION Guru!! Ive personally have 3 carts of his

    http://www.nesreproductions.com/

I've wondered about that site, but with donor carts required, no online order forms and (given those) pretty high prices, I just never dealt with him. If I recall he also wasn't accepting new orders for a good bit.

now I'm a bit curious as to what level of workmanship is inside my repros--think I'll open one up...

edit: the gamereproductions.com recca was about what I expected inside. A couple eproms--two legs lifted on each and probably 6-8 wires jumping connections. Soldered pretty well, but this setup is never going to appear the cleanest.

I can honestly tell you he stands behind his work, as we speak I am ordering my copy of Recca: Summer Carnival 92 from him. yes he does charge a bit more and requires a donor BUT its well worth it

  2. I picked up a Sega CD Model 1 along with a Sega Genesis Model 1 hooked on to it, at the thrift I was able to make the sega CD power up with a generic cordless phone A/C adapter.

I get home and whats my luck I dont have an extra P/S for the Sega CD so I hound the house and I find nothing at all there are many that fit but the unit wont even power up now...

    Please Help!!

    Thanks

  3. I just sat down looking at some of my games and I thought WOW, this game would have been awsome on this console or that console, but it never happened

    My Thoughts

Blades of Steel on the Super Nintendo, I see it as a possible launch title, aka Super Blades of Steel, maybe released in the same frame as its Game Boy port.

Golvellius, on the Genesis would have been awsome, I see as the sequel for the SMS that we never got.

Zelda Links Awakening for the NES, maybe for the SNES it would have been too soon after the release of A Link To The Past but it would have been cool too.

  4. Working on this, the first issue I come to is the cartridge slot. The less case modification on the outside the better. This means that larger gameboy color carts would either stick up (but advance carts would not) or the case would need major modification.

All I need it to do is play original game boy carts THATS ALL.

Do the Carts for the original game boy fit fine?
