  1. Sorry, but I need light ... I'm not a developper and my english is not really great, but what does it means ? A way to make/use code ? Does this "way to code" is avalaible somewhere ? (Gorf's playground for ex)
  2. In fact I like the Qix-family games ... but my favorite is ... hem ... the Gals Panic serie even if Painter have some more features ... missing artworks maybe
  3. In my mind, Diamjag is more interesting for 2 reasons : - it's an original product - gfx & sounds are better In another way, I prefer playing at Atomix but I think objectively that finally Diamjag is still more interesting. (& I don't forget that Atomix was an attempt to port a GPL game on Jaguar made in a short time) sorry Seb ;p
  4. Please don't bring that back, we don't need another locked thread here, use PM thx
  5. and you are right it's not a fabulous game just a small one , like painter was
  6. Like Frontier Developments for example ? They have made a port of their good 32X game, Darxide. It was a good idea.
  7. In your book it´s trivial, of course. That´s a pretty good argument you´ve got there. Maybe Jagware should use that when recruiting developers for the CF. I´m sure they´ll feel the same way. of course piracy is not trivial , don't be stupid. But it seems to be a good argument for this former developer. Only one more way to attack GT Turbo, and finally what Jagware represents to him. Concerning the piracy thing, if you are an active developer you should have been invitate to debate about it on Jagware boards. "I don´t think we should let this thread deteriorate into yet another BattleSphere circus vs. CF", but maybe You shoudn't come here and yell again and again the same thing. Go and play with your friends in your sandbox and stop vomit on active developers as Matthias, Liars, ... or the jagware guys
  8. piracy is a dumbass argument Thunderbird II XD ok just wait for Battlesphere Platinium or Battlesphere Diamond
  9. oh ... FACTS ? Not necessarily facts, but anyone with just basic knowledge of French can do a quick search on the Yaronet forums and find, if not exactly incriminating posts, then at least a lot of "intent". no not necessarily of course, not this time, thanks to your basic french knowledge you should have found these dumps, don't you ? no ? it was only "intents" then ?... but really "intents" or just words like "I'll dump his f**** game, damned flammer" ?
  10. be serious : THEY WILL NEVER PRODUCE MORE piracy or not, no interest for them by doing it oh ... FACTS ?
  11. a gamer/developer can't be a developer/gamer ?
  12. maybe it'll be better to give you this exemple : http://www.llamasoft.co.uk , not a multimillion dollar corporation ? concerning these examples, it's only about software, not hardware, don't stupidly mix them
  13. does anyone have ever / will product copies and sell them ? the market value is only based on speculations, the authors don't win money on it and ... unless if they launch some more carts, they will loose some. FACTS , only FACTS.
  14. You know Nick's price was trully a good one, just compare : http://cgi.ebay.fr/Very-Rare-Atari-Jaguar-...1QQcmdZViewItem http://cgi.ebay.fr/Atari-Jaguar-Rare-Battl...1QQcmdZViewItem even if it's really expensive for a (rare ?) game
  15. You're right and it's also important to stop with this misinformation to keep a safe discussion about it.
  16. Have you got an example of this "Pirate!" magazine ? You must be able to read french so ? Here is an short extract of it - apparently you haven't read it at all : " Des passionnés continuent de développer de nouveaux jeux pour les consoles et les ordinateurs des années 1980. [...]" Olivier B. - Pirates Mag' 22 - mai 2006 So ... where is the piracy here ? Unfortunately, thanks to all the spam, flood, misinformation, hainous threads ... I finally don't what it'll be If you don't have anything to say ... please let this place free ... Thanks Justclaws, for your interesting post Now let SCPCD speak us about the JagCF
  17. So... could that be done? Can the JagCF be built so that certain older carts can be "locked out", where the developers have actively asked that that be done? Could a JagCF recognize a cart and say "That's Super Burnout, so it's okay" or "That's Total Carnage, so it's NOT okay" ? Sounds kind of complicated, so maybe it's not easily feasible... and if the JagCF recognize Checkered Flag it will display this instead
