Picked up a box of 59 2600 and 7800 games for $25 from a guy off criagslist Sunday. I had most of the games but I did pick up a few I didn't have . I got Sprint Master, Real Sports Volleyball, Superman, Red Lebal Q-bert, Dark Chambers, Desert Falcon, Red Label Donkey Kong jr, Red label Gravitar. And for the 7800 crossbow. The ones I already had I've sold already the 7800 games on here and the 2600 games on ebay.

You might be right though. I really read your post wrong. You were saying the kids playing the 2600 were born from 1972 to 1980 and from 1980 to 1987 for the NES. I read it as thats the years they were playing the systems.

Your numbers are off. I'm 28 I got my first 2600 in 1988 the 2600jr model. Lots of poeple got the first Atari around that time. Be it the 2600jr or the 7800. The NES really didn't start selling big in the USA until Christmas of 1986. The NES was the #1 system from 1986 up until about 1991. So first gen atari would have been from 1977 until 1984. Then the after the crash atari kids like me from 1986 until 1990.

I don't really think of Racing games as sports games to me they are their own genra or games.

Of course.Did you not see the thread a little while ago when it was available for purchase here at AA?I think the only place now would be at auction sites like Ebay or maybe someone here at AA wants to sell theirs?,which i doubt will happen, cus its a pretty good game!!!!!!It was an effort by several gentlemen here at AA.I know one of them was MITCH.Whoever knows the rest, feel free to post their names!they deserve another pat on the back for their efforts!I have #23,of the 1st run, that i bought from MITCH,i think there was only 1 run, glad i bought it! Nope didn't see it. I was a reg on AA from 2002 to 2005 but over the last four years I have't been posting much. I'm back now.

When I was a kid in Eastern North Carolina in the late 80's I had a 2600jr and my neighbor had an SMS. At the time we bothed wanted the NES. My mom and dad didn't have the money for one so I ended up with 2600jr got it for my birthday in oct of 1988. My neighbor got the Sega Master System from his grandma thinking she was buying the NES. Anyway we would get our folks to take us to KB Toys and Roses to look at and when we were lucky buy games. We always looked at the 7800 stuff and talked about how cool it would be to have one since it played both 2600 and 7800 games. We both would end up getting the NES around 1990. I didn't get the 7800 until 1993 or 1994 from my sisters boyfriend used. Anyway my point is around here anyway the 2600jr and 7800 both were well known and seemed to sell pretty well.

Dreamcast is fun system. To me even though it's a newer system alot of the games had an old school kinda fun to them I only get when playing the 2600, 7800 and NES.
