i'm sending out the money order in the morning so i should have the game in a week or so! Hope its as fun as i think its gonna be. This will be my first homebrew so i cant wait!

My dad and i would play lots of combat he also liked pac man when i was a kid. And when i got back in to atari last year he played frogger for the first time when i took my atari to his house when i went to see him and my god he must have played frogger for two hours. My mom liked pitfall donkey kong and we would play warlords alot.

Well in my my area of NC by that i mean a 3 county area. I find atleast one 2600 game pretty much every weekend but its about once a month i find 2600 games that i need. 7800 games ive found two carts. NES games systems my god they are every where wish i was more in to the NES. Sega stuff all over the place i even come across SMS stuff from time to time. SNES stuff every where like NES. Now that ive said all that whenever i know i have the money to spend which is like maybe twice a year at most i take a ride about 2 hours west to raleigh NC to buy rite video games. They have everything and lots of it! From the 2600 5200 7800 jag lynx intla im talking systems and games! But i dont ever take the trip sep when i have right much money to spend. Theres nothing worse than going up to buy rite and only haveing the money to buy a cart of two.

As i said in a post below i had a ok find this saturday at a local pawn shop. Got 8 commen games i didnt have Spider fighter. Dodge'em carnival. sking. international soccer . tron deadly discs and dokry kong by caleco white cart i already had the red lebal atari cart.

Of the two whitch is better? I had winter games for the 2600 as a kid and i loved it. So i wanna get it for the 7800 or 2600 but im wondering is the 7800 port better? I know it would have to look better all though the 2600 port looks really nice for a 2600 game. But anyway of the two which is more fun?

When my grandma got me mario bros back in 88? And it was for the 7800 and i didnt have a 7800 i had a 2600!!!!! I HAVE A 7800 NOW THOUGH! GRANDMA?

But if you order to night or tomorrow you will get the power supply by the end of the week! By the way they have a few 2600 games for $5 and some 7800 games for $8 to get your order with the power supply up or over $20.

Man i wish i was more in to collecting for the NES the local flea markets around here have tons of NES games and my local game store phatboy video games is always geting nes games in on trades they sell most for $3 a cart!

A guy i buy games from sometimes at a local flea market said to me saturday morning that he sawa bunch of 2600 games at a local pawn shope so i went to check it out. I didnt really think they would have anything ive never found any atari games at my local pawn shopes but they did! They had about 25 atari games 8 that i didnt have! Now heres the down side the guy at the pawn shope wanted $5 a cart!!! I said can you go lower? He said how about $4.25 i said well i cant really spend that much a game. He said well i guess i can go $3.50 so i said ok. But it all came to $28 so i said i only really can spend about $20. So he says well i can take $22! So i was pretty happy if my math is right for 8 carts that comes to about $2.50 a game not bad being the price started at $5!!

As far as the cabile that go's in to the RF from the 7800. Any ole coaxail{spelling) video cable will do fine. You can buy them at wal-mart radio shack pretty much any where. It takes the same size plug end at the 2600. So if you have a extra cabile from a 2600 around that will work fine.

Just use the same style RF as you do with the 2600. With the tv/game switch.

When i got back in to atari for the first time in years last year about a week maybe two of collecting and playing it. My sister was haveing some tourble so me and my wife went to stay with her for a week. We were all packed up and about ready to go and i swear to you i was telling my atari and games goodbye! And then i did it i was so sick with ATARI! Right befor i walked out the door i went and unhooked my atari 7800 packed up all my games which was about 40 at the time and took it all with me to my sisters! Im not that bad now but damn i still would hate going a week with out ATARI!

Ive seen alot of hacks but what about a hack of double dragon for the 2600 to make it more like the arcade? Ive never played the 2600 double dragon but from what ive read it sucks! And is nothing like double dragon for the 7800 nes sms and such. So could someone hack the 2600 port and make it more like the double dragon games we all know and love?

From what ive read about the gameplay and the object of the game it sounds nothing like Qbert dunno why thevideogamecritic.com said that it was? I have not downloaded the rom yet to play it but i think i will. My wife said that QB sounds a bit like a game she had for her gameboy when she was younger calld boxel? Anyone ever played that game i havent. Anyway as of right now im thinking i'll get QB instead of thurst plus. If for nothing else QB cost less.

I was wondering which one to get? I dont have any homebrews but i wanna get one and these two look like the best to me. But which should i get? Ok heres what im going to do im gonna list my favorite 2600 games and the style of games i like and you guys that have played QB and or Thrust let me know which you think i'll like better. Style of games i like fun simple shooters,side scroling style games,and charector games. My fav 2600 games are Kung Fu master Qbert frogger moon potrol kangaroo defender 2 ms-pac-man road runner missile command pittfall Games i like on other classic gameing systems are. 7800 Galaga mario bros ms-pac-man dig dug robotron 2084 joust NES MARIO BROS 1,2,3 paper boy DOUBLE DRAGON all system! Sega ALL SONIC GAMES Ok so dunno if this helps but which do you think ill like better QB or thrust?

There is a game calld klax much like tetris. Ive never played klax though? But it was releaset in europe for the 7800 but a few people have changed it from PAL to NTSC format. I think you can buy 7800 ntsc formated klax at www.atari7800.com not sure though.

Are they that bad?
