This thing looks awesome! I found my colecovision in my garage last summer. I only had 2 games back in 83, 84 though Donky Kong, and Fraction Fever. So, I need this thing! Only thing is I found the console and 2 games only, gotta go see if I can dig out my controls from the garage this weekend.

Is anybody out there using one of these for gaming? I have a Donkey Kong cartridge that I could'nt figure out what console it was for, turns out it's a Atari 800 cart. Would it work on the 800XL? Also, is the Atari 800XL worth anything?

After reading atariage for two hours this morning I decided to hit the flea market to see what I could find. I got there at about 7 am, most seller's were'nt even set up yet. I walked around a bit, and I did'nt find anything. I searched around pretty good, until I felt like I was'nt going to find anything, but seller's were still putting stuff out. Then I decided to make one more round before leaving, then I saw an atari 2600 woody with a video game center case, with a bunch of manuals, and 4 carts, Vanguard, Towering Inferno, Dark Chambers, and Congo Bongo. Plus some controls, and power supply. The guy selling it was cool and threw in the games to go with it, and another guy looking at stuff showed me the controlles that were hidden away under some stuff. I ended up paying $15 for the whole lot. I did'nt even try to talk the guy down because $15 was'nt bad, plus he was a cool guy. How do people keep old boxes from tearing or ripping when handling? Like when removing a console from an original box always seems to cause a little damage. I've gotton lucky on a few ocassions finding consoles and controlles in original boxes. I recently found a pair of atari keyboard controllers in box, and a sega genesis 3 in box. I always seem to damage the boxes a little bit while handling them. I don't want to leave them in the box and not play them. What do you collectors out there do?
