Welcome to my free 2010 Christmas giveaway! Over the years I've collected a TON of garage sale stuff, and I need to clear out some closet space. Rather than sell this stuff on eBay, I thought it would be more "Christmas-y" to just give the stuff away, as my way of giving back to the classic gaming community. I did the same thing back in September of 2000 (just google "anybody want this stuff atari") If you'd like one of the complete console systems, please try to limit yourself to 1 bundle so that I can spread this stuff around to the most people. This stuff wouldn't be a gift if you had to pay for your own shipping, so don't worry about it...its on me. If you would like any of this stuff, send an e-mail to rkennehaATyahooDOTcom (replace the AT with a @ and the DOT with a .) Wal-Mart was selling the Jakks Yoda game for $4.88, so I bought it. After playing the (mediocre) games for about 10 minutes, I opened it up, and lo and behold, they printed the address and data line pinouts to the cartridge slot RIGHT ON THE PCB! So here it is, the pinout of the Jakks Game Key cartridge slot: pin line line pin 1 A2 A0 2 3 A4 A1 4 5 A6 A3 6 7 A17 A5 8 9 RES2 A7 10 11 A19 A18 12 13 A9 A20 14 15 A11 A8 16 17 A13 A10 18 19 A15 A12 20 21 A16 A14 22 23 ROB OC1 24 25 CE SEL 26 27 VCC GND 28 29 NC RES1 30 31 NC IAC0 32 33 D7 D15 34 35 D6 D14 36 37 D5 D13 38 39 D4 D12 40 41 D3 D11 42 43 D2 D10 44 45 D1 D9 46 47 D0 D8 48 VCC = voltage GND = ground SCL = chip select??? NC = not connected OC1 = ??? IAC0 = ??? ROB = ??? RES1 = ??? RES2 = ??? The Jakks controller buttons are located to the left, with A2, A4, A6, etc The "top" of the cartridge PCB is on the right, the side with A0, A1, A3, etc The "bottom" of the cartridge PCB has a tiny LED that lights up when a cart is plugged in. So the cartridges are plugged in upside down in relation to how you hold the unit while playing. Since there are 21 address lines, maximum cart size is 2MB The cart slot width is the EXACT same size as a PCI slot. So if you wanted to build your own cart dumper, you could desolder a PCI slot from a PC motherboard and cut it to proper width with a jeweler's saw. I tried to make the cart pinouts look prettier and lined up more evenly, but the topic editor from chops off extra spaces between characters. Anyone know how to fix that?
