  1. Here in Europe Sega games are realy hard to find, anyway this week I found Congo Bongo Pal version, so for the first time I could play the game in the right colors. After a while I noticed the music was two times slower as the NTSC version. Does this mean that if you play an NTSC game on a pal machine, everything slows down (like different frames a second, or something???)? Sandy. Might come in handy for hi-scores
  2. I took a closer look at the AtariAge list, and found out Jobs is only mentioned as the designer of the game and not the programmer of the 2600 port. sandy.
  3. So why does Jobs get credit for the 2600 version here on AtariAge? Like do they list the programmers who did the original arcade version? -San.
  4. Right now I´m reading Arcade Fever (by John Sellers), on page 19 it states Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak designed and programmed Breakout together. Did Jobs do the 2600 version on his own?, I´m just asking because I didn´t see Wozniak´s name in the list of programmers on this site. -San.
  5. Congratulations! -The X-man King

    #rgvc

It´s not a site, it´s an IRC chat channel devoted to classic video games.

I was wondering, so many people post here all the time, and sometimes it´s almost a chatbox (considering how fast people reply). So my question is, why do I never meet any of you guys at #rgvc (the irc chat)? Sofar I only seen crossbow, and ofcourse Marco there. Here´s a link to the atarihq rgvc page. sandy.
  13. quote I remember wasn´t it 824 selling it. I guess a $1000 is ok when you are near complete and have every other release mint in box. Sandy.
  14. You probably mean this one: Astronaut 2 in 1 Just a pirate release. Sandy.
  15. I just received a nice handle (videopac style) cart by Videogrow. Not a bad start. Sandy.
  16. Albert said: quote well if you or Alex ever make a trip to Europe, please stop in Amsterdam, both are more than welcome, and maybe Marco will hop on the train to join in!
  17. Just wanted to wish everyone here the best wishes for the new year, and that you might find lots´s of classic videogame gems in 2002! Sandy. p.s. Alex and Albert, thanks for running this site, I realy enjoyed it this year, so I can´t wait to see what you guys will treat us to next year.
  18. I like the picture of the boardgames, is this before or after the mushrooms? Sandy.
  19. Hey Marco, Your silver box is a bit crushed at the bottom, if I was you I would look for a replacement copy San
  20. Microdigital is molded on the back of the cartridge case. Anyway there are a lot of Brazilian companies listed at various sites which were actualy not producers of cartridges. For instance Fotomania and Arte were both Photo/Electronic equipment stores, which also sold or rented games and just slammed their own labels on the cartridges. Sandy. btw, there are also some microdigital carts which say Onyx on the label instead of Microsoft.
  21. Hey Junie, I would love to design a label every now and then, so count me in. Sandy.
  22. Hey Matty, I just took a look at your website, are you sure Spider Kong is a prototype? I have two similar carts, but they weight too lite to have eproms inside, I think they are more like pre-releases, what do you think? space robot space tunnel Sandy.
  23. Maybe it's a nice idear if Alex and Albert start a poll so all AtariAge visitors can vote which label they think is best. Sort of the peoples choice award Sandy.
