  1. The 5200 never got released in Europe, so it has no sentimental values, and the 7800 sucks major, so I guess I go for the 2600
  2. When you have UR stuff for trade it´s always very difficult to find someone to trade with. So sometimes it´s just better to sell your item on eBay, and use the money to buy something you need yourself. Sandy. [ 11-17-2001: Message edited by: san-d-2000 ]
  3. Yeah it was a great convention!, btw, you also missed out on tons of Brazilian stuff during the trade session
  4. For ages we have had the classic gaming chat on IRC called #RGVC. Maybe it´s time for something new, most people here post so often, that it is almost a live chatbox. I think it would be cool if we could all talk realtime to eachother, even if it would be only ones a month, or maybe every second friday of each month or something. The other day I met Crossbow at RGVC, and it was realy fun to actualy talk to the guy, who´s post I have been reading for the last half year on AtariAge. Let me know what you think, Sandy.
  5. Ben, I did a search in my collection, Bit corperation uses the same cartridge casings as Telegames or maybe the otherway around. Here´s a scan at Gamereset this cart uses two of the mystery holes. Sandy.
  6. quote These generic cartridge casings were also used for multicarts, multicarts need switches, and switches need holes, there you go
  7. My QFQR also has the extra sticker on top of the mainlabel, so I think they did a whole run of these. The same cartridge casing as the one you have was also used for multicarts, the holes are for the dipswitches which most multicarts have. Sandy.
  8. Let´s see how high this one goes River Patrol boxed Sandy. [ 10-12-2001: Message edited by: san-d-2000 ]
  9. Dark caverns is my favourite, get´s realy fast on the higher levels, I used to play this one quite often as a kid. As far as the shape of the cartridges and the problems stacking them is concerned , I started looking for boxed copies Sandy.
  10. How often do you see a River Patrol on eBay, almost never. And if it´s one of the few cartridges which a collector needs to complete his collection, I guess it´s worth that price. Sandy. btw, it also depends on how much a person earns, to me $625 is more money than to others.
  11. Marty, What did you exactely get, a cartridge or a background, and do you have a scan? Sandy.

    Ebivision

I just remembered, there was a limited run of the book "Supercade", which included a Ebivision (exclusive) game. Sandy.
  14. I downloaded the rom today, I think its not that bad as gameplay is concerned, sort of a mousetrap clone. Also did some reading up in the DP, it states the following: One actual 2600 cartridge was found by Bill Esquivel,. Before he found it, the only known copy of this game was found built into a 128-in-1 European 2600 system´s internal ROMs. Mybe I order a copy from Hozer and stick the label of the Emerson version on it
  15. Joel, You don´t happen to have a spare eprom, do you? Ifso please let me know, thanks, Sandy.
  16. Thanks for the info, I think I will try to get a 4k eprom first before opening the cartridge. Sandy.
  17. quote I was wondering which multi-cartridge (brand/type/label/etc..), what does it look like, and who discovered the game? Maybe it might be worth checking all of my multi-cartridges. Sandy.
  18. I just bought this modified cartridge on eBay, and was wondering if anyone could tell me, what the switch at the top does. cartridge scan Unfortunately it didn´t came with any eproms, so I have no way of testing it. So if anyone here has a spare eprom and is willing to sell or trade it please let me know. thanks, Sandy.
  19. Hey Skatepunk, I´m to old to start now, but I always wanted to. Tony Hawk on the psx is as far as I get Sandy.
  20. Just found out Skateboarding.com has a coverage on the "Kaboom: The Maple Tour", here´s the link:Kaboom: The Maple Tour At the bottom of the article there´s a quicktime movie. Sandy.
  21. Right now I would love to get my hands on a copy of "Save our Ship" by Technovision. This is the only Technovision title I´m still missing.
  22. Maybe after finishing Double Dragon you could give Skateboarding by Absolute a go? In my opinion that´s also one of those games nobody ever finished.
  23. I do like the zellers label a lot never seen that one before.
  24. Hi all, First of all my apologies because this is just a shameless plug I just updated my website, and thought I let you all know. www.atari2600.nl Feel free to take a look, and let me know what you think (good or bad, but don't go too hard on me, because this was my first adventure in PHP-land). Best, Sandy.
