I collect and like Boxes, and i do play them a lot! Also i open shrinkwrapped games to play them, i just like boxes :-)

I think this is a very good point, recently i decided to only buy the best of the best. I buy homebrews for the Coleco, Atari 2600, Atari 7800 and the Intellivision which makes it impossible to buy every release, which i used to do with the Colecovision.

With this game being shrinkwrapped and distributed with the roms you could possibly get away with just stuffing two copies of Atari 2600 E.T. inside, and only a few of us would notice

I think it's more the fact we all love the original colecovision boxes with the cabinet. As a kid i always felt like i owned the arcade cabinet when looking at the box, and imagened there would be a miniature cabinet inside the cartridge :-)
