hello all, just dug up my old 2600 and wanted to pass on a tip i remembered for space invaders... (hope i'm not repeating something everyone knows) i'm sure you guys are familiar with space invaders and how you can only fire one shot at a time... well i figured out a way to get double shots, here it goes: before turning on the console, hold down the reset switch, then turn on the console while still holding the reset switch down.... when you let go of the reset switch...voila! double photon torpedos! (hope i remembered it correctly, i don't remember if it worked for double player) fyi, the model of my console is cx-2600 (don't know if that would make a difference) my old way to get double shot, was to turn the console on and off very fast many times, until it finally "activated"... the old method didn't always work, and i'd end up with weird colors on the screen. hope this tip works, have fun!
