      These aren't gentle rains, they're storms that rattle the windows, shake the pictures on the wall, set off car alarm. The flash flooding resulted in Emergency Alerts to be sent at 8:54 pm, 11:40 pm and 2:31 am.

      The storm was forecasted for just a couple inches of rain. It ended up being 5-11 (8 in my part of town) on ground that's already saturated.
