      I heard what "might" have been fireworks earlier, but it's also possible one of the neighbors was involved in a shootout. It's been known to happen. Between the sound of my electric heater fan and my loud typing, I barely noticed it anyway. None of my neighbors are really interested in fireworks, so I don't expect much noise around midnight.
