    My computer says it doesn't recognize the fan. When I press F1 to boot it up, it gets really loud. I guess I need to get a new fan. Or perhaps, a new computer?

      A new fan sounds much cheaper, if the rest of your computer is decent. A loud fan sounds like the speed control is broken so it runs at maximum speed. Check so it is attached properly and not full of dust.

      Mr. Computer is now at a computer repair store called "Salem Geeks." None of the people inside looked like their geek mascot. So we'll see what happens.
