My clinic says once every 10 years. Although I don't remember getting one in 2010 though.

In Sweden, children get three shots within one year and a fourth shot within 5-10 years later. After that you should have protection for at least 20 years. Perhaps the vaccines are different, or you're living in a more harsh environment with bigger risks so you need to get booster shots more frequently.

My immune system is always on guard because I'm always getting stuck with sharp dirty objects in the garage and stuff. Or drilling out cysts with Dremel. Plenty'o soldering iron blisters I pop the following week too.
