  1. I'm having a disagreement with someone. Would you describe "Chicken Little" as a "fairy tale" or not?

      Of course, Folk Tale probably covers all of them. A Folk Tale is just a story from an oral tradition. It could be a fable, a fairy tale, a myth, a legend, etc.

      I think fairy tales have some sort of magical element... someone is bestowed a magical gift, or succumbs to a magical spell. There's some sort of injustice to be overcome or a challenge for good to overcome evil. Aside from the talking animal characters in Chicken Little, I think it's more of a parable about regular human conditions.
