I'm a proud supporter of the bowel movement.

Under my fingernail itches but I can't scratch it because there's this stupid fingernail in the way.

@SoundGammonI used to do that when I had a fungal infection on my hands. The hot water burns off all the histamines so it doesn't itch anymore.

Hope @SlidellMan is okay, just saw on the news about a tornado in Slidell.

Glad you're all right @SlidellMan! Saw you guys on the news and it was like DAMN!!!

It would take an ordinary garden snail twelve years to crawl from Los Angeles to NYC.

I just bought something on eBay. Why do I need three e-mails about it?

I put flea medicine on the cat. Now she hates me.

Listerine is named Listerine because it contains listeria.

Cailtin Clark passes Pistol Pete's NCAA scoring record.

She's a great athlete, it's fun to watch her. Hope she does well in the WNBA too!
As for the comments re: Pete etc, well, it's all perspective. And the record is still the record, and now Caitlin has it.
Pistol Pete can rest easy (RIP) knowing he'll forever have the record in the non-3pt era, and in 3 seasons.

The snow started sticking even though it's above freezing. 1 inch and counting.

I went to Goodwill to see if I could find an old CRT TV so I could play my light gun games. Nothing but flat-screen TVs. Argh!

Yup. I believe thrift stores today don't even accept CRT's as donations anymore. There is a huge charity shop where I live that donates money to all of the local church groups and they are very picky about what they take. They will refuse CRT televisions outright... and then for some reason they will put "CRT" on the price tag they hang on the flat screen displays they do accept. It's a bunch of old people who run the store though so I just assume they don't actually know what they are doing.
Best bet seems to be Craigslist these days. Sometimes you'll come across people just looking to get rid of an old set, though often times now you'll find people who are aware they are preferred for playing vintage games on and will charge accordingly.

@atari2600land Yeah, that might be a bit far - we're in Oklahoma. I've got either a 27" or 29" Sharp CRT TV that was a roadside find. Seems to work fine, but needs a cleanup. Once Winter hit, it was sidelined but I figure I'll get back on it in a few weeks.

Happy Pistachio day! I don't think I've ever actually eaten a pistachio, though.

It reminds me of the James Bond movie "For Your Eyes Only":
QuoteBond wakes up inside Columbo’s ship. Columbo sits at his desk, waiting to talk to him. He insists that it is Kristatos who is the true drug smuggler, not him. Columbo merely smuggles gold, diamonds, cigarettes, and - most importantly - pistachio nuts.

I feel this odd feeling to dip potato chips in ketchup.
-
They make ketchup flavored chips in Canada. I have a friend who sends me a bag every year on my birthday (sometimes on Christmas instead). A local grocer even carried a "black pepper ketchup" flavored chip for a limited time. They are good, it really just tastes like dipping a french fry in ketchup and what's a potato chip but a flat french fry?

Why would Photoshop reset itself and erase all my things I did to customize it?
-
If it crashed, then either 1) its Preferences became corrupted and couldn't load them, so it reset to its defaults or 2) if you had made all of those changes without ever having quit Photoshop and *then* it crashed, it may not have saved them in the first place. Photoshop typically saves custom settings when the application is being quit. This is bad if the application crashes while quitting, and before being able to save those settings. Usually, if I go through and add custom Actions, Brushes, etc., I'll intentionally quit Photoshop so it updates the preferences.
If you run backups on your computer regularly (and you should), and Photoshop *had* saved those preferences before, it's possible to restore them by replacing the current settings with earlier copies. Google "Where are my Photoshop preferences saved" and that'll point you in the right direction.
There are ways to intentionally reset them, but they're unlikely to be triggered by accident: https://www.greaterthangatsby.com/how-to-reset-the-photoshop-preferences-file/

I ordered delivery pizza from Dominos. About 40 minutes later I get an ad e-mail from them telling me to order some them.
-
I got an e-mail showing my package was delivered but it wasn't. I don't think it had been stolen by porch pirates because I live in an area with a bunch of old people. I looked everywhere out there and it wasn't there. What can I do? The USPS says it was delivered.

Well, I'm glad it worked out!
I know I was getting Amazon (?) packages delivered that came with a pic of it on my doorstep. And even though it takes them a few more minutes that way, I figured that was seriously the best way. That way I know it came to my house, ...also we don't tend to have "porch pirates" around here, but I know they're a problem for people. I Hate idiots who steal!

Discovered why my room was so cold. It's never good to have your window open just a crack when it's 18 degrees out.

I understand midnight, but why shoot off fireworks at 8:42 in the evening?
