  1. Have you considered putting them up on YouTube like Sayton does?

I might. I have dial-up at home, but once in a while I go over to my sister's house. She has high-speed internet access. I use it to update This site, one about local Salem commercials. Since I just went over there yesterday, and every time I go over there I somehow mess up the computer (but we keep fixing it. I swear it doesn't like me.). Since I was just over there yesterday, it'll be a while until I can go over there again.

  2. Sounds like a good idea, but you might want to invest in a tripod!

    Chris

I reshot the episode earlier this morning. This one is only 6 minutes long. I put the camcorder on a stack of boxes. It was slanted, but it was better than the old one. I'd get a tripod, but they're kinda big and my room is a mess.

  3. Hey, it's Ken Lewetag from KWVT! What brings you here? I was just sharing my thoughts about KWVT here. So, do you have an Atari system? It's me, Chris (the guy you've been e-mailing back and forth with.) It's a shame Comcast won't add KWVT. I'm going to get a YouTube account very soon, I'm just deciding what user name I should have (I'm leaning towards salemoregon, if that's not taken.)

  4. I have a some dupes if you'd like them - I checked the stack against your list and you don't have Indy 500, Omega Race or Star Raiders listed.

Only issue is all 3 require special controllers. Indy 500 needs the driving controllers, Omega Race needs the Booster Grip, and Star Raiders needs a keypad controller.

If you'd like them just PM me your address and I'll ship them out.

I think I have all three, but they're not on my list because I can't play them because I don't have the correct controllers. Thanks anyway, though.

  5. I'm only 25, but I find myself listening to 60's/70's music more often than I do music made today. The only albums I bought this year that were made this year were NIN's "Year Zero" and Dream Theater's "Systematic Chaos".

  6. You people living in Ohio are so lucky. My mom lived in Akron as a kid and she told me that it gets dark in the early afternoon because the storms are so big. And then there's all the snow you get. I wish my grandparents still lived there. I'd probably find some really cool Atari stuff at the flea markets/used video game stores there. Anyway, the winter storm has been delayed. It seems all the local people say it will snow Saturday instead of Friday.

  7. Thanks for the birthday wishes. I s'pose I'm not that old, then... Everyone just left the party, and I got Looney Tunes: Duck Amuck and Legend of Zelda for DS, SpongeBob season 4 volume 1, some money, and a few other small things. Some of that money will be given to the AtariAge store. I haven't made a purchase there for a while, I guess they're due. Haven't decided which game to get yet.

  8. Looks like a scene in a horror movie! Anyway, if I saw something that big, I'd knock the web down and stomp on it wearing a big ol' boot. Either that or shoot it. I've seen a whole bunch of spiders (not that huge, though) hanging out in the bushes near the mailbox. Icky poo!

  9. How interesting! This makes me wonder why DVDs have chapters. Did someone look at an early CD when creating DVDs, and say "You know, maybe we should add chapters to our new invention"? Of course, I have weird theories about everything, like why VCRs have record buttons. There weren't camcorders back then, so I figured it would be so people could videotape themselves playing video games. But then, that would mean that people could tape TV as well. I have a newscast from '83 which addresses the problem of people taping copyrighted programs on VCRs and whether it's a crime or not. How ironic is that?
