I don't play my GameCube that much (mostly because I only have 7 games for it), but I do have 61 DS games, and it's getting harder to find stuff that I'd like because I have all of them except Trioncube. Do you have Intellivision Lives! for Gamecube? It's fun.

The nearest Fry's is in Wilsonville (about 30 miles from me), and I don't have a membership to Costco. Thanks for the info. I plan on going to the local Toys-R-Us this weekend. Believe it or not, I still can't find Pac-N-Roll! BTW, Austin Texas was the final Jeopardy! answer last night, and I got it.

Made by Sega in 1995, Super Columns is just one of the many games based on Strat-O-Gems.I know you were facetious with the above, but I started work on what would become Strat-O-Gems, based on a PC game entitled Columns, back in 1994. An examination of the present code and the 1994 code would reveal the similarities.
So Puyo Pop is a rip-off of Columns?
I'm sorry, I didn't know people were working on homebrew Atari 2600 games in 1994. I thought the only homebrew 2600 game back then was Edtris.
I must mention that the first homebrew game I'll buy will be Strat-O-Gems.
EDIT: I guess my wording was off. It should have read "it was one of the games that Strat-O-Gems was based on."

Can you do b+20 > x ? since that would parse better to ASM.
I tried that and it said "invalid keyword: x"

I want to hear that song about the Ham sandwich.Yum!
If I can find the lyrics I wrote for it, I'll give you a PM.

Wow, homebrew GBA games. How about homebrew N64 games? Is that possible? Cuz that would be cool. There are only around 300 N64 games IIRC. We need more of those. GBA games are still being made, though, with three that I know of coming out in March (MLB 2k7, TMNT and Meet the Robinsons.)

I'm still a Blazers fan, even though they keep losing game after game. Maybe one year they'll actually make the playoffs!

-
Not exactly. I used missile1x with a height of 30 if you know what I mean.
Plus, there's 3 fish. -
I'm mad at Gamestop right now because there's only 1 GBA game on their "to be in store list." That means no Dark Light, no Ghost Rider, no TMNT, etc. Will I still shop there? Yes. It's a block near the bus depot.
-
Yes, but the Portland Blazers beat Memphis in 2OT a few nights ago
. The Blazers are doing better, but they sure are taking their time doing so. -
How funny. I wrote a cartoon a few years ago like the Far Side with the caption "As early as the 1950's, the U.S. Government has been using 'The Wizard of Oz' as a means of torture." I'll spare you the crappy drawing that goes along with it.

Very nice! What fonts did you use?

I don't know... "Build Your Own 4.25 Inch Dobsonian Telescope" sounds kind of interesting
I didn't know there were that many e-books. Do you know why this happened? -
Welcome back Atari2600land.You were missed.Whens GoSub hitting the AtariAge store.I want to get a copy of it as well as a copy of Eric Ball's Skeleton Plus.Look forward to your next blog.
Mike & I are still working on GoSub. As for when it'll be finished, it'll probably be around February or March. And check out my newest blog for a game I'm working on, which is the one that'll be after GoSub (that is, if people like it.)

A game I have and enjoy! It sure beats wearing those stupid bowling shoes and the guy working there putting you right next to the other person playing even when the rest of the lanes are open (why do they do that?) Also, it's on the 2600, which means it's on my favorite system! I also couldn't get a 7-10 split. And you know what, it's better than Elf Bowling.

I wish I had a 4 foot tall stuffed banana. Oh, the fun I would have.
Yes, I have no bananas.

Has anybody seen the movie? Is it any good? It looks fairly interesting, apparently it's a reworking of the King Arthur legend.

Thanks for the suggestions! The next time I go to the used video game store, I'll see if they have any you people mentioned.
-
I really enjoy Super Princess Peach. It's a great game.
-
And then there's the people who do the opposite: Use 'it's' when the word is actually 'its.' You should probably read "Eats, Shoots and Leaves," you'd probably like it.
-
I bet you have 'The Jungle Book' then. I played it on an emulator once and really enjoyed it, what with all the secret codes, you don't even need a Game Genie to have fun with it! From what I understand, it was made in 1994 and really rare. I also enjoyed Wario's Woods, too. The only NES game I have from 1994 is Zoda's Revenge.

I meant starting at 100 (like I had 0 games at that point.) I don't know why I phrased it that way.

You're right, I can't use missile0. That means the ping would have to be the color of the walls (playfield). And I don't want to get rid of no_blank_lines because then it would look crappy. I only have about 1K left in bank 1 (bank 2 is where all the mazes are stored in.), so I'll see how much memory is left after I put in the multiplayer races.

Thanks for the suggestions. I've only been doing Batari Basic since June and it just amazes me how people know precisely how many bytes such and such action does. I'm not really all that good at math. In fact, I'm pretty amazed at what I've done so far in GoSub. How about this for a multiplayer thing? Have both subs go at once and have them race to the finish, maybe try to ram them in the walls or something? Of course the walls shouldn't be deadly, so how about them being sticky or something? I think having just one go is kinda harsh, given the difficulty of some of the later levels. The enemy thing is a good idea too, but the sub would have to be brown because I'm using missile1 for the treasure chest, and its ping would have to be black because I'd be using missile0 for an actual missile. I'll do some fiddling around with the program this week and see what I can do.

I hate to act stupid here, but what is the point of the game? I got to the top of the 1st level and nothing happened. I even got one of those things that rests above the gingerbread man's head.
