If you ever decide to split this up, PM me.

I want these Intellivision games GONE! I don't have the system any more so I have no use for them. So I've set up a little Marketplace ad hoping to have someone to buy them. They're $1 each, and there's 29 of them, and some good ones in here from my understanding, including Q*Bert and Motocross, yes, even those for $1 each. Like I said, I want them out of here. I got my Odyssey^2 back from inside the garage where I had tried to sell it at the garage sale, and I have second thoughted this and I've decided to keep the Odyssey^2 and all my games for it, so I'm back collecting for this system again, so if you have any Odyssey^2 games I don't have for a little extra cash in your pocket, PM me.

Or, if you have any, just the manuals themselves. Looking for pretty much anything except stuff I have. PM me for a list of what I have if you're interested.

I think it's time to hook up the Gamecube with a pair of DK Bongos and play some Donkey Konga and Jungle Beat. It's been a while. That's what I'll do tonight, play the bongos. I think I know where they are, and if they're not there, I know where the other pair is. Last time I went to the game store, there were THREE bongo controllers! Maybe it's time to get an extra third one and see if I can find a manual for DK:JB and Donkey Konga 1 to put on my DK Bongos site. The last time I updated it was March! I'm thinking of revamping the site, maybe add a neater background, or something. Anyway, if you have a pair of DK Bongos and a Gamecube, do like me, get them out and play them tonight!

I wonder if Atari is going to sue the guy who draws it...

What happened to Atari Joe? Did Atari sue him?

Here I was anxiously awaiting the first Oregon Ducks game. My hopes of a victory were soon dashed as LSU defeated them. Now the whole season is over, and there's no point in watching any more Ducks games because they don't have a shot in hell of making the national title championship. What a bunch of stupid morons. Oh well, there's always next year...

Really? We can't use the word "A***i" any more? Or are you guys just kidding around?

Is moving to the country to eat me a lot of peaches.

Today's update. Press fire at the title screen to begin. You go up the closed windows, not the open ones. beautyandthebeast090111.bas.bin

I'd change my name if it was Tim McVey. Sounds too much like Timothy McVeigh...

Looks like there will be at least a third game for the blog coming up. I just thought I'd look through the Game Boy Advance games at the store and found Lego Bionicle, which is on the list for October 1. Once I do Ricky and Spider-Man, I'll be done with September, so the games that were released October 1, 2001 include: Mega Man Battle Network (oh goody... ) Wild Thornberrys Lego Island 2: Brickster's Revenge Lego Bionicle (which I have) Monsters, Inc. Looks like mostly kids' stuff for that day in GBA history. I also got a vinyl record I've been wanting today: Rush's "Caress of Steel." I have it on CD, but wanted a vinyl for my LP collection. I should get an iPhone, then I could access the Internet at the game store and look stuff like this up. Whether I had to do "Lego: Bionicle" soon was a guess based from memory, I was 100% sure on Lego Island 2, but I didn't see that there. But iPhones are so darned expensive.

Yeah, I know, there are a lot. Notice I said "at the moment."

I found a folder in my computer of a baker's dozen of little crosswords I had made a little over a year ago. I then decided to put together a little magazine of these each month. So I made 3 more for a nice round number of 16 (four on each page, plus cover and answers page) for a little 6-page monthly issue. Man, these things are tough to make. I spent at least two hours making one for the next issue. So the next time I get bored (which is too often), I guess I can make one of these suckers. I hope to have 16 ready each month, and you can find issue 1 here, as well as all future issues. Or work on "Beauty and the Beast" for the 2600, which ever I feel like doing.

Just three at the moment. 2600tris, this one, and Insecticide for the Virtual Boy.

Argh! It's rising from the dead! All I have is the title screen so far with a plane going by periodically. I tried to do a Doppler effect, but IMO it isn't very good. The sound volume is supposed to peak when it's at the center of the screen then fade. Tell me what you think. beautyandthebeast083111.bas.bin

When I got my 800XL at the game store, the guy there said it had been modded, two wires that have been put in it (audio and video) so it will work with a VCR or what have you, instead of a monitor. I was just wondering if this was easy to do or not, because it really would make sense to have them be released that way. What way were they originally released?

Well, the GBA Chronogaming blog will continue next week (hopefully) if I get my copies of "Spider-Man: Mysterio's Menace" and "MX 2002 Featuring Ricky Carmichael." Progress has been made in 2600tris, and I did what I wanted to: speed the game up when the lines are clearing. That means it doesn't go through the whole well, it stops near the top of where your highest block is. So if you're pretty low in the well, it makes a big difference. My previous three attempts at doing this have failed. I also put in the "set debug cyclescore" which I haven't done in a while, and fixed some places where the number turns red (which means it doesn't have any cycles left to work with, whatever a cycle is. I still don't know how the 2600 works in relation to programming.) Check it out in the homebrew forum.

I don't think that would be possible. The score digits in bB have to be less than 9 pixels tall. Anyway, I found a way to make the game faster when the blocks are clearing. As usual, let me know if there's any bugs, especially in the 2-player mode. 2600tris20110830.bas.bin 2600tris20110830.bas

Just bought a couple games for my GBA Chronogaming blog section. So it will hopefully return for a few more games next week.

Well, I finally did it. Well, not me. OK, well, THEY finally did it. The post office delivered my long-awaited package. The girl on eBay said she couldn't ship it because her father was in the hospital. Lame excuse or not? You be the judge. Anyway, even though the package was 4 days after the estimated delivery date, I still gave her positive feedback because the game came (eventually ) and everything was in perfect sealed condition. Well, anyway, inside the package was Frogger for the game.com. I feel kind of guilty for opening (read destroying) the package just to get the game inside it. Frogger was a 1999 game.com release, so it's the non-boxed one. It comes in a clamshell case, so if you want the game inside, you have no choice but to semi-destroy it. I kept the packaging anyway because I want a complete boxed game.com collection. And the game worked perfectly, or as perfect as the game.com allows . I couldn't see the snakes slithering around the screen at first, and kept wondering why I was dying for no good reason. And I still don't know the difference between the "updated" and "classic" versions apart from different-looking cars. And there is what I call a Lynx mode where you can flip the screen! I'm right-handed, so I couldn't care less. Well, anyway, I now have a dozen game.com games if you count the pack-in game Lights Out. I guess it's now uphill in prices at this point, so I'll have to pay more if I want a complete boxed collection.

The problem is I only have 6 digits for both a score and a line counter, which isn't very much. I didn't think a three-digit score counter would be enough digits for one, plus there would be no score for the two-player version because all 6 digits would be used for the line counter (in case both players get more than 99 lines.) It would be neat if it was possible to have two 6-digit scores, but I don't think it's possible in bB (although batari is free to correct me if I'm wrong.) Thanks for the compliment.
