At the beginning of winter one of our meteorologists gave a prediction for snowfall totals.  We are supposed to get 37 to 50 inches.  So far we've gotten 4 inches.  I don't think we will get what was predicted.

I got a Sega Saturn. All I have is Sega Rally. Am looking for more games.

It's 60 F right now.   Supposed to rain all week.  We've only gotten about 3 or 4 inches of snow all season so far.

I'm watching Francis the talking mule on Silver Screen Classics right now.

Glad December-January is over. It cost me plenty. I had to buy a new washer and dryer, my car need expensive mechanical repairs, and the worst... a tooth extraction which I need to have an implant later in the year. So far, it cost me $5,500+ dollars. 8^(

34 years ago today, the Space Shuttle Challenger exploded after liftoff. I saw it on TV on the day it happened. I was 9 years old.

I saw America last night at a local restored theatre.  Gerry pointed out that this was the first show of this decade and the very first show of their 50th year as a band (branded as such on the tickets), so they both talked a bit about their history.  I was blessed to see them (never have before), and the seats were only like 10 rows from the stage even though the tickets were not much more in cost than a nice steak dinner which is forgotten the next day.  If you get a chance to see them, I highly recommend it.  Plus it's fun to get out of the house once in a while and mingle.  I sit at a screen way way too much.  There were 2 extremely attractive women (30 years old or so) in the seats in front of me, and even though they were talking to each other, I didn't mind as they were talking about their love of America.  One of them got excited when they did "Ventura Highway" (her favorite song), and she whipped out her iphone and recorded it.  The energy of the crowd adds to the experience.

No snow yet.  The weather people's computer model was wrong.

Just a friendly reminder that in 18 years people will be doomsday prepping again because "some guy 68 years ago didn't think about the future while making a time code".
