I don't think it can be turned off, but it would be nice if status updates left on someone's profile were not displayed on the front page.

Microsoft is so insensitive to the needs of its customers today. I CANNOT deal with constant upgrade interruptions so therefore I ripped out the stuff that does the updated and deacticaptiated the rest with freely available tips and tools. Windows has not bothered me in months.

All the other updates it forces on me were <5 minutes, so this is a new experience. I would never want to go camping.

Personally i can't stand MacOS and Linux is great however for compatibility Windows is the sure winner. What they really need is a lightweight version with all the bulls#1t stripped out. Im sick of how bloated windows really is. They really should have the bloatware for free download if someone wishes to use it and keep the fresh install light.

You only have to look at the original x-box OS which is really a gutted version of win2000 then look at the specs of the console. You need atleast twice the power on a Windows machine to play the same games.

They really should have a store so if a program requires additional bloatware software then a message could pop up directing to a link. I guess without Microsoft bloatware and Chome's web browser hogging resources, hardware manufactures would be out of business.

Watching the early morning news lately, couldn't help but notice *every* day is a national day of some kind. Yesterday it was mutts. The day before it was... I've already forgotten.  lol

The fact that they put coins back in the game (I didn't miss them at all in Mario Kart 64), and they made the last 2 150cc cups impossible to beat are just two reasons.

Yep, I've had to dig dead rats out of the walls in my attic.  There was no question that those rats were dead, because my nose lead me right to them.  I don't think anything in the world smells worse than dead things. 

A few weeks after we moved into our house we had a torrential downpour after a bit of a heatwave.  Two baby seagulls were washed down onto our forecourt.  Worse thing about it was they must  have been dead for about a year (there were baby seagulls on other roofs at the time) as they were pretty decomposed and crawling with maggots.  Scooping them up with a shovel into a bin bag was one of the most unpleasant things I have had to do. Man, the stink!!

Never had to worry about that- our cat does a good job of making it clear his kills are dead. Sometimes the hard part is getting it to stay in one piece for cleanup 🤢

Isn't cholesterol as a factor for overweight exaggerated? Unfortunately I think those are right who blame our excessive intake of carbohydrates, while in the old days the fat was thought as the primary or sometimes sole cause.

For that matter there are both good and bad cholesterol.

Yes, the forum links are slow for some reason. I've posted a message on the Invision forum to try and get some help.  I won't be able to properly investigate this until early next week.  Overall the new forum should be faster than the old, but will require some fine tuning of the server configurations (actually both servers, web server and database server) to get it running optimally.

I imagine all the server migration and forum updating probably has things running a bit slower as well. 

I'll be shipping all outstanding store orders today. I was originally planning on doing so earlier in the week, but I had to move up the plans to upgrade the forums and move the server last weekend, which I was not originally expecting to do for another week or two. And that was an enormous time sink. 

Why not just counteroffer instead of saying nothing?

Worse yet, is when sellers just turn down your offer without countering. Seems lazy to me. You didn't set an automatic decline under a certain amount, so you had time to consider. Time enough to manually decline the offer, but not counter?

On Red Barons, I like to drizzle on some Barbecue sauce and hot sauce (Frank's red hot), plus SriRacha, then I add toppings. They turn out yummy!

We have a Rally's still in business in my area. My favorite all-time fast food restaraunt was a place called Hot 'n Now. $0.29 hamburgers. When I was young I could eat all weekend on a big bag of hamburgers for a few bucks

We used to have a place called Checkers in Chicagoland and Rockford... but they're long gone. I think they were related to Rally's. Best damn fries and burgers at one point. They still sell Checkers' fries in the frozen section at the grocery store. lol Funny to see stuff like that from restaurants long gone. Same with Chi Chi's products. Saw something from them the other day.

Yeah I believe Rally's and Checker's were the same...We saw them in Illinois when we were on tour on the 90's.

If I want to have the best experience, they should offer liquors and chips.
