  1. Hi, I just got a Sunnyvale Sears heavy sixer with no channel select switch in the box in great condition! Serial #77813S. Thanks
  2. Congratulations! I'm about 20 or so away before I make it up there. The thrill of the hunt indeed!
  3. Well I'll, be.... Can I suggest maybe adding something about that to the game description?
  4. I tried cleaning the contacts a couple of times, but when I try to play it, the screen keeps rolling. Is there something I can do about this?
  5. I, see. I guess what I really want to know is if this is something that someone would find useful in any way. As neat as it would be to have an Atari 400, I doubt I'll ever get one.
  6. I have this tape drive but not the computer. I plugged it in and the rewind function kind of works. After rewinding a tape about 3/4 of the way, it stopped. It does nothing when the advance or play buttons are pushed down. Is this a lost cause or is it possible that any parts of it could be salvaged?
  7. I have never tried it out. I got it at a Goodwill a couple of years ago and it's just sitting in my closet. It came bundled with a tape drive. I don't know if it's anything special. It looks like every other C2N I've seen. Anyway, if anyone is interested, you know what to do.
  8. I recently got: Boxed US Ski Team Skiing minus overlays Mattel's Computer Gin Microvision console with Block Buster, Vegas Slots, and a boxed Bowling and a book on Z80 assembly language programming book all for $2.
  9. I just found this at Goodwill for $1.09. Looks and feels as though it had never been played.
  10. Sorry, this is the first time i ever put a picture on a forum.
  11. All this talk about video game music and nobody mentioned Megaman?
  12. For my roommate's birthday I got him the Star Trek VHS Boxed set.
  13. My roommate just bought me a TurboExpress for my birthday along with Aero Blasters, Bloody Wolf, Final Lap Twin, and Double Dungeons! I never even knew this thing existed.
  14. My name, as with all user names I create, comes from a song. It started when me and my friends in Hawaii decided to all get AIM screen names of songs by the same band and, though the bands have changed, I almost always use song titles. Plus, they are rarely taken.
  15. I have a friend who works at Goodwill listing items on their online aution site and I get numerous complaints from him about how their stores are run. First off, for being a "charity" organization, they certainly don't act like it. The district manager for the Portland store, for instance made $830,000 in pay and benefits, more than any other non-profit executive in Oregon. My friend's particular warehouse made more money than their projected plan way ahead of schedule. When asked what the employees would like for some kind of bonus, they asked for a cash bonus. Instead, they are getting taken out to lunch, with the ceo's who are taking the excess cash as a bonus to themselves. Goodwill indeed! They take donations and then sell them for way more than they are worth as if monre money now is better than more money in the long run. If Goodwill weren't so greedy, maybe I would feel sympathy with it against dumpster diving and donation bin rummaging, but with a 100% profit from all of a companies merchandise, few would turn away from the dark side. I say any scamming of Goodwill is fair game. They will still function as they do, as well as front a charitable, good-samaritan image and they will still get support from its victims.
  16. Thanks. Is the transfer pak compatible with a gameboy sp? It looks like the only problem I might have is clearance issues with opening it.
  17. I am getting an N64, mainly for Ocarina of Time and Mario 64, and I wanted some opinions of other games that are worth getting. I sort of dropped out of the video game scene after SNES until the Playstation, so it seems to me like I have this giant void in gaming that everyone else has fond memories of. I tend to like one-player games like platformers, puzzle games, and rpgs, though I have been known to enjoy four-player tournaments of Golden-Eye and Smash Brothers. Sure, I could look up other people lists of favourite N64 games, but I kind of wanted to see what the consensus was of games that an N64 owner should have.
  18. I have a few games for systems I don't have yet, but I'm more guilty of buying periferals for systems I'd like to evetually get.
  19. I found this at Goodwill for $3.59. It is a cartridge the says "Rabbit for the CBM 64" on the front and "A Rabbitized 64" on the end label. It came bundled with a tape drive and a connection to the drive's cable. That's really all I know about it. I tried searching for it on google, but all I could come up with is a list some guy compiled that says the cartridge I have is known to exist but he doesn't know anyone who has it. Can anyone tell me anything more about it?
