Try my dos xe formatter. It is on this forum somewhere. Will need to be run from dos xe as it places parameters into dos xe itself for the drive type which you can name. Usually the way it is done is to switch in the bank, copy one byte, switch out the bank, store byte directly to destination, update pointers, switch in bank, copy byte etc, etc Saves double movement. James

Actually, you could try a 1050 mech. Just need to get the IP working. Just looked at the photos. Not sure 150 tandon parts will fit. Needs a closer look. James

The parts broken are the same as a 1050 tandon mech. Easy enough to replace, just harder to align. If you dont move the stepper motor, it "should" stay aligened. Tho the mech does look like a 1050, it isnt the same. The gt one doesnt have the switch for door close but has IP sensor. Also the black lock leaver has been cut down so that it clears the front plastics when in lock position. James

Another way is to use the BlackBox. It has highspeed SIO built in. James

?? Pokey and ctia/gtia produce sounds that go to monintor and TV. SIO has an audio in pin that goes to monintor. Those with a parrallel bus/ECI also have an audio in. Pokey does actually send audio to SIO bus serial out when using 2 tone mode for cassette use only. (see $D20F) Not otherwise useful. James

It would seam so. It appears to work for everyone except ilaskey. What i did was to load the ATR file into a hex editor (winhex) Remove from end of DUP to start. remove what appeared to be the end of dump till end of ATR. Starting at the end, found the munged sector link and removed it. did same for all the rest of the sector links (took some time to do). removed the 6 byte header and saved and tested it. I also have dissembled it to have a look. James
