I dropped out a while ago, and miss it. I would like to see a champ crownewd and a new season start so I can get back in. well Either way I intend to get back in.

I played Pacman for days solid in the day. I loved it. I still get that tingle inthe back of my neck when I hear the "TWANG___TWANG"

I was going to pick one of these up, but started playing it at best buy and was not impressed at all, so just skipped it. I will probably grab one in a few months when the price drops a bit.

I think many games "talk" to me. but that usually stops after I pug them in and turn it on. THey say things like how wonderful today is, how nice to see you again, I think that the others are watching use, be careful. thant sort of thing.

I picked this up at Target for only $15 last week. I think it is great. I do not have a problem with the menu system, I think it is kind of cool. I was amazes obout how few 80 games really looks like. I found myself wanting more. Good thing Ihave carts and a 2600 to fire up!

thanks for the help. I got it to work (it was remarkably easy) and have been plying Battlfront all day yesterday. Now I need to go through my games and look for some more online stuff. ANy suggestions?

I would be shocked if they went back, unless they partnereds with a big time computer company to try to skip ahead of Microsoft plans. That is a total entertainment system with Sega as a component to that system (really it would just be in name) Consoles are money losers. only software makes any money. total entertaiment is the future, mybe they can partner to re-establish themselves

I know I am an idiot when it comes to computers. But I have scoured the Playstation website to find out about it. All I find is how yo fix problems, so I figured I woudl ask the good people here. I know I will need a network adaptor, but what else? Can I use my cable conection on my computer? is there a monthly charge? Is it easy to set up for idiots like me? Thanks for any help

I wonder if this will impact AA since you can get thes Roms here? I hope not. I hope that Atari realizes this community adds a lot to thier marketing simply by keeping the system alive for all those years (before it was cool to be gaming retro!) Also I am sure quite a few regulars here (including myself) will go out and buy one of these even though I have most of the games in cart form.

I caught this yesterday. nothing exceptionally new to me, but it was very cool none the less. Interviesw with Nolan and Dave Crane, and a few other atari guys as well as the big developer from Nintendo (did Donkey Kong, Mario games and Zelda Games and the whole story behing Tetris. and Pong Even interview Baer about Pong. was cool to see all the stuff on tv. keep an eye out for it

I think it went great and I had a lot of fun with it (even though I stink at most everything, sorry team Xype) One suggestion I have, and it would not nessesarily make it better, just different) is to hold 1 or 2 events a day instead of all of them at one time. FOr instance Day one could be Shot Put and Biathlon Day 2 could be T+F 100 M and Decathalon High Jump Exc. It would run more like the olympics and also avoid the "sniping" people are complaining about. SInply have people post the scores by 10PM Central time or so for that days events.
