  1. Well, if it was in the RGB realm, I'd say that one of the wires is SURELY broken. Since we are in the Y-C, hmmm...
  2. Well, first of all I would suggest you to find a mouse. There are Atari compatible (and Amiga mouse) almost everywhere and all Atari web-vendors listed at AtariAge do have that mice. Also, if you need low-res graphics, you can go a different way, by picking the right signals at the video connector where you currently hook your monitor (schematics surely here at AA and also at Atari-DIY website) For extreme measure, there are modifications to do (easy stuff) to your monitor, or also some colour-emulators
  3. If I remember correctly, there is a couple of resistors or capacitors to add to do the job.
  4. Here I am again (from the old thread) with some details: Paolo (Italy) -Yeah, I'm still there :-) one tower recased Falcon with audio mod, full-size IDE HDs and SCSI HD and CD-writer used for audio equipment one [email protected] open-air Falcon with 512MB (+14) and 30GB small IDE HD, waiting for the shipment of EtherNat and some new-era videocard
  5. Hmmm, just noticed that I am the only one with a line like: "Paolo - Italy" I know I am in the list since the very beginning, but I didn't notice that it grew up and gained details, so, here I am: Paolo (Italy) -Yeah, I'm still there one tower recased Falcon with audio mod, full-size IDE HDs and SCSI HD and CD-writer used for audio equipment one [email protected] open-air Falcon with 512MB and 30GB small IDE HD, waiting for the shipment of EtherNat and some new-era videocard
  6. I know this topic doesn't belong here, but this is the section where I am more active, so please help me and the mods to find the right place. this is the fact: http://www.pistolwimp.com/media/49242/ I just found it, and I think it's pretty recent. Very emotional, and funny, too. A lot of Atari classic stuff, and a true tribute to classic games, I believe.
  7. Go figure! I always tried to avoid TOAST and ended with Dragon Burn. But hen I can't burn .nrg Well, I used Linux. If your running a mac you need to pick up a copy of Toast to burn cds. It will need nero files, Iso, .cue and more. Its well worth the money to get it. Robert
  8. cdrecord was what I was referring to, actually. You can use it in windows, and in linux, and in Mac (osx at least, surely) and maybe in Atari? Hmmm... Is there a port of cdrecord in mint? So I remember, can't lind the links right now)
  9. @sebrmv: I tried nrg2iso, of course, but it didn't work (just as stated in the docs) My thought is that if they are using Nero to prepare an image, better is that the image is a standard one, that any program can handle. About the music: I had a little fuzzy cracking noise every now and then. I could not find any pattern for it. Later in the game it disappeared. I thought about my audio wires at first, but then the 'ding' sound was OK even during the cracking noise. I am a little puzzled. However, in the evolving of the game the music appeared OK. I also set a couple of online scores. (my son set a score, too. really.)
  10. OK, all! I finally had the chance to burn it. GREAT GAME and GREAT MUSIC! Music somehow reminds me of Obsession on the STe. Little note: please DROP nrg images: Mac users can't burn and linux users have to download NeroLINUX (30days trial and then payforit) nrg2iso doesn't work because of the audio format (it is in the docs) Why just don't have a nice ISO image file?
  11. Hi Hannig bros! It is nice to see that Lars pushed Holger so far that he is teamleader for a project Way to go, Lars!
  12. BWAAAAAH! Why nobody cheered for Italy??? Is it because of the buying-selling matches stuff? Or maybe because of the 'close the refree in the closet' stuff? Or maybe... Ah, well, forget it
  13. Well, I play games ZOOMED on widescreen. Sure, I will lose some lixels up and some down, but there are games where this doesn't matter at all.
  14. Hey, RickHarris! Why are you talking like Captain Kirk?
  15. WOW! Way to go, Curt! Please, keeep adding stuff into the website. As example: is there an option to get more than one gamepack?
  16. and I'd add that an auction is quite difficult to happen, since all the buyers agreed to NOT letting their copies go (except for particular cases), unless they wanted GORF himself ram their frontdoor and beat'em up
  17. Hmmm, and the worms? Come on! no worms? Shame on you! (I know, I am you nightmare)
  18. Jagpad? It is the only controller that doesn't make my thumb hurt when playing buttonsmashing games. the *only* one!
  19. I don't know where to actually post this in order to let Jay see. I just noticed that JS2 has been hacked. Jay, you should fix the thing and also please tell us what do we need to do in order to restore our security there.
  20. Does this mean that ALL the titles he was working on are CANCELLED??? WOW!
  21. The CAB.OVL is just the overlay that CAB needs to 'link' with StiNG. So you need to get CAB
