About robustness of controller: it's robust, believe me! I can't understand how did it break just sitting on it: my (4 years old) son drops his controller 10 times a day, and puts things on it and sometimes kicks it (not by purpose, just accidentally), and sometimes pulls the cable off the Jag pulling it from the controller side. And everything works just fine. There is just a srange behaviour in MC3D going diagonally up-left, but this always happened. He LOVES his controller, the positioning of the buttons and the use of Dpad (I am not showing him MY ProController )
About PSX controller: I always have thumb-ache after a 15-minutes-session, and it hurts for the whole afternoon!!!
Goat DAN: Maybe you should put the letters near the JammaJoystick buttons! I often use the wrong one, I can't remember the right positioning.

I am in the need of having more the 16 midi channels on my Falcon. I thought of using the Mario Becroft's MIDI3 adapter, but it looks like it's only for STs.
I also thought of linking (as a slave unit) my MEGA4 with the Falcon and use its midi ports as additional ports. Any thoughts?

Infatti ho partecipato all'ultima "asta tosta" ed è venuto fuori che HO VINTO. In realtà avevo già vinto in un'altra occasione ma poi BSB si è rimangiato tutto (forse perché l'avevo presa al prezzo di copertina 79.00)...
Il prezzo giusto è:
$150.00$
E non ho ancora saputo a quanto ammontano le spese di spedizione.
Ma non è questione di collezioni da completare: Avevo intenzione di prenderlo sin dall'inizio 'sto gioco, pensa che avevo persino già comprato JUGS...

Gunstar: I think you're right about the contacts, but the strange thing is that in Blue Lighting and in hoverStrike cooperative mode, I CAN go diagonally!
Who knows, maybe it is that MC3D is just less tolerant to bad contacts...
Adrian: I opened my joypads, like maybe a lot of you :-)
My first thought was that there was a bug in MC3D, since I didn't have problems with BL or HS2.
The think I didn't do was to try the diagonal with the joypad open.
Well, nevermind -for now-! I don't have the time so I will use my PROController

I have had a strange behaviour of my two joypads: when playing Missle Command 3D, I can't go diagonally towards up-left, I am forced to go up, left, up, left, ...
This happens ONLY in MC3D, and it didn't show at the beginning when my joypads were new. The strange thing is that the pad works perfectly in ANY OTHER game.
Does anybodi knows something more?

A proposito dei ragazzi di rimini (brainfusion mi sembra), li ho anche contattati; appena mi libero un po' mi ricompro il lynx...
Battlesphere... Sai che sono uno strano gruppo di persone questi alla Scatologic? Prima mi promettono una copia durante una chat, poi mi ignorano cordialmente, poi si fa un'asta via e-mail e non si sa niente, BOH!
Rimango in attesa.

Ti risultano altri italiani? (io so almeno uno)
Lo hai mai mostrato agli amici? E che ne pensano? O sono quel tipo di gente che dice che FIFA 98, 99 ,2000, 2001 e 2002 sono dei giochi completamente diversi tra loro?
Sei riuscito ad avere Battlesphere? (se segui JI2 avrai notato che cas.no con queste aste di BSB)

I gratefully thank you, to let me know about this board. I already have been at atariage, but I didn't mind to go into the forum section.
I think a lot of people at JI2 think there is still a lot to discuss on the Jag rather flame each other about T'bird and such.
I am noticing that a lot of other people are registering here; too bad that it is so bad time at JI2.

Guarda che il TOS si setta dal sistema: c'è un programmello con cui tu scegli il layout e il testo. Pensa che il mio era svedese!
Probabilmente hai impostato il default per VGA ed è un problema perché l'unico modo di venirne fuori mi sembra proprio che sia fare il boot da VGA
Tranne l'800XL ho tutto

La mia storia Atari inizia a casa di un amico inglese un milione di anni fa (VCS). Non ho mai avuto una console atari, ma comprai un XL800, tavoletta grafica, tape, disk e non so che altro (prima stavo con Commodore VIC20)...
Poi 520STFM, 1024, MEGA4STE, TowerFalcon.
Intanto ho comprato un Jag.
Ah, sono di Napoli. (sai, pizza, sole, mandolini... ma non ci sono gli smileys per questo?)

I agree with Gunstar. The game is fun. Yeah, the graphics are bad, no anti-aliasing, low resolution and cartoonish colours,...
BUT! But the phisics response is better and more realistic then ANY OTHER racing game on PS (including motorcycle racing that have the exact same phisics!).
Sure, it could have been better with a higher framerate, and the collisions could have been more accurate, but this is the only car racing game we have for Jag (excluding checkered flag, of course, but I think Thunderbird doesn't even consider CF a car racing game )
