  1. Hmmm, I've seen it in the video, but, you know, I'd happily give up the option of moving vertically for good ol' rotary action!!! hehe (edit: BTW, it would be really great to have track-ball compatibility, along with a nice track-ball, of course...)
  2. I see there are already two posts about possible usage of the rotary controller, but no answers yet. Hence, I am a little anxious about it. I have a ratary, too, and it would be *great* to use it on a new game. So, Terance, k3v, Steve, Scott, give us this news!!!
  3. I had a few cats (countryside house), two ducks, a sheep, (and in our city house) hamsters, a canary, a rabbit, small water turtles, and a lot of tropical fishes. Not all simultaneously, fortunately
  4. I voted for the printed version (which is what I would prefer); however, folks that is not-so-close to the center of the action (let's say way far from *any* action) would have a hard time in getting a printed copy. Printing a PDF would be nice.
  5. ...and still, I usually play Fight for Life in widescreen mode :-) I just don't care seeing the very top and bottom of the screen. And I like it! (I know this is not what you were talking about, however...)
  6. Let me understand: taking those benchmarks from that website, should I just Configure, Make, Install, and I am set for testing?
  7. Well, on the MiNT side, I am in, if I can be directed to the tests to be done (Falcon ct60 @95, 14/256 MB, EtherNat, Eiffel, 30GB HD, ZIP100 SCSI)
  8. Since I just noticed this latest post, may I welcome Mario Perdue here? I know, I know. He has been a registered member since always... PS: Mario, will we see a Mac version as well?
  9. I like that game as well. I don't really like the music, though. I think it sets the wrong mood. Or maybe it's just me, expecting a more cartoonish-happyland-style music :-)
  10. I didn't know that the Jaguar files still exist! (I have AH CD sold way back from Stone. It would have been a cool game
  11. thanks, Doc. Now, it would be interesting to know if the source is somehow understandable or it is cryptic. We all know we have some very talented programmers around, so ... :-)
  12. I read this thread quite quickly, but I don't have time to reread it, so will someone please tell me if the SOURCE has been found along with the executable? Thanks. Oh, and, by the way, ... great find!
  13. I don't know: Gorf gave here a very good and enjoyable post, I'd say. We all have seen the Gorf fight exciting flamewars, but we are nowhere near them. Of course, we didn't see what Gorf saw. This draws to a conclusion: Come on, GORF! keep on coding and show us what you already know. In the meanwhile, I'll have a go at GORF (the game). I don't have other Gorf products. No bjl downloading or such for me. I'm too old for this s... :-)
  14. welcome aboard! I think that the best right now is Ebay. However, there are a couple of threads here listing shops for Jag, IIRC. Just can't find them right now...
  15. Right... SCART connectors are used almost everywhere in european tvs, even the 14" CRT cheapos, but nowhere in the US :-( Think, though, that it is a very nice connector, indeed: in it you have stereo IN, stereo OUT, composite IN, composite OUT, 12v pullup signal, RGB in, RGB out, lots of GROUNDs and a couple of other signals as well.
  16. WOW! what a BUMP! I just read it through, and in my opinion you gotta love this thread just for this: there is a Gunstar post from 2004 and another Gunstar post from 2008. He probably forgot he posted one of the very first replies, and in his recent post he says: "Well, I guess after 70+ posts, it's time for me to chime in on this topic." Gunstar, you are a pillar here at AA. You ROCK!
  17. ...or more: http://cgi.ebay.it/ATARI-JAGUAR-BATTLESPHE...p3286.m63.l1177
  18. some of those images are for Nero, some for DiskJuggler, and a couple are for NSI, if I remember correctly. After a couple of coasters, you should be able to burn and run any demo-freeware-PD Jaguar program
  19. Well, now I just miss the DVD to put into the case (edit) who sold this CD? never seen one...
  20. Surry, Mark. I only made a wish! Since my kids like Karaoke CD+g discs on the Jag, it would be cool to let them also play their favourite MIDI tunes...
  21. ...And this thing would be great! "turn your Jag in a GS/GM MIDI player!" How cool is that, along the CD+G capability?
  22. Hah - and it comes even better: anny is now heading the table due to alphabetical reasons. Ah, well. I can still count on my membership "seniorness"
  23. @anny84 I just can't believe!!! Falcon owner, italian, *in NAPLES* ?! I think that Italian falcon owners are maybe ten, and TWO of them are in Naples? And both are here at AA? Nah, can't believe! :-) Will you PM me? Ciao!
  24. maybe he re-installed Apache, or a whole new linux box, so you land on a "hello world" page ...
  25. Hey, am I late? :-) I just noticed the article at AA frontpage, and I like it. I have a couple of items I'd like to auction, but I didn't put them on Ebay since they may not be much of interest, and I don't want to pay useless relisting fees. I could start from there. Long story made short: I'm in!
