I already downloaded the music kit from paul slocum. I will read through the tutorial tomorrow, maybe I can code some music, but don't expect too much. I'm a beginner ^^

I am actually exercising in batari basic a bit, but I really don't know if something like that is doable.

But the mockup picture looks very nicely and if this is really doable, then it would look very impressing.

I finally made it to try this game out and its really nice!

The AI is better than in the first version but I found a little bug there:

 

 

As seen on the picture (atari was beginning) I marked the middle spot with a cross and in the fifth round, he also marked it with his circle.

 

Just wanted to mention that.

wow this game is pretty hard for me.

I haven't managed to get a score above 1000 points, so i'm still trying.

But I also love the spawning effect from the ships.

It seems also to be a rare game isn't it?

I had Towers II and was bored to death with it...But then again, I'm not a huge RPG fan and especially not a fan of the old-school-type dungeon crawls, which Towers is.

 

Thats exactly the reason why I want to play it because it is a real RPG. I really dislike modern rpgs like Final Fantasy.

[HSC Season 4 Week 65: Beamrider]

The info for this game is a little confusing. It's being played on Expert A but says to start at level 1. You can only start at level 1 in beginner B. You should be starting on level 8 in expert.

 

The last couple scores posted above both look like they started at level 1 diff B.

That's correct.

 

Although confused, I started my game at level 1, because I thought that was the right way to play it according to this week's rules.

 

 

Ah! I was wondering how'd you achieve such an amount of points. I started in Difficulty A Level 8. Hope it was the right decision.
