  1. I bought http://www.bataribasic.com to serve as the new home for my Atari 2600 compiler. Al has graciously offered to host the site  The new site currently redirects to the old site, which is long overdue for an update. The site will contain downloads, such as the latest stable and unstable releases, binaries, source code, docs, and links to other sites that have batari Basic content.

Since I don't have a great sense of style, I thought that the web designers out there might want to compete for a prize! The prize would be a free cart and you'd be credited, of course.

Before I start any official contest, I wonder if this idea is ill-conceived. My thinking is that the design will involve putting together a good CSS, and implementing a nice, navigable site layout. The web designer wouldn't need to maintain the site - I'd do that, so ideally I'd like a layout skeleton that I can add content to and maintain without too much trouble.

So I'm looking for a few things here. I'd like to know if there is any interest in such a contest, and if so, some suggestions as to how this idea could be turned into a successful contest.

I actually think this is a superb idea. I know there are a few pros that are on this forum and some people that are just hobbyists. The only problem I see with it is the time it would take. Other than that, anything is possible!

    Good luck!

  2. I have been real lucky with USPS... I live in a small town so even if it has the wrong address, it always gets to me. UPS, DHL and FedEx are pretty much the same. I have, however, shipped things to Canada, which have taken a month to get there. So, I guess, bar none... Canada is the worst I have ever dealt with. I have received things from Asia and places like Costa Rica in a week to a week and a half.

I've decided that I need more specific information about what users want,

when it comes to our monthly prize giveaway. So there is a new menu option

from the mainmenu. It's "M" for Monthly Prizes. Users who wish to register

for our monthly prize giveaways should pick this option and choose whatever

prize they are interested in. Your choices will be registered to a logfile

that I can check at the end of the month. Users can register for as many

prizes as they want, but please only register -1- choice per item, per call.

You can register multiple prizes in one call... Thank you all! :)

Congratulations to our winner, and good luck to everyone on this months

    prizes! :)

I wanna play... how do I sign up? :)

  4. That MIO board is absolutely beautiful. You have, yet once again, out-done yourself. I know everyone here, who has purchased this board, will be incredibly impressed. As are your friends, with the sheer dedication and determination you put into your work.

As always, job well done! Keep up the good work!
