My Pleasure....Happy Holidays!

Yup... I am there at least once a week, although I will admit haven't been on DarkForce this week at all. I will get around to posting something there eventually! (Look how long it took me to post anything here! haha) Oh and btw... missed you last night! Hope all is well with the family, and have a wonderful holiday!

I really like Dark Force BBS. (even if I don't win a prize hehe) Dark Force has a lot of Atari related things, as well as non-Atari related stuff. I really enjoy reading the posts...they are interesting, and very informative. The only reason I can see for not calling into one, at least for me, is having to actually telnet into it from my PC. It doesn't always work. I personally think the BBSes are a good tool, not unlike a forum, or a chat channel. I would like to see more of them around. But of course, that is just my opinion.

Mark--I think we will all look forward to hearing about all the new baby news when ya get back! Take care and I will be thinking of you and your family during this wonderful holiday and blessing coming shortly! As for the rest of you guys... it has ALWAYS been my pleasure to be around such a great group. Oh my... have you checked any of this seller's other auctions. It floors me that games would go for those prices. When I get my 2600...I don't think I will be looking on ebay for carts too much.

I actually think this is a superb idea. I know there are a few pros that are on this forum and some people that are just hobbyists. The only problem I see with it is the time it would take. Other than that, anything is possible! Good luck!

I have been real lucky with USPS... I live in a small town so even if it has the wrong address, it always gets to me. UPS, DHL and FedEx are pretty much the same. I have, however, shipped things to Canada, which have taken a month to get there. So, I guess, bar none... Canada is the worst I have ever dealt with. I have received things from Asia and places like Costa Rica in a week to a week and a half.

Alright, so just a few days ago I got my first 8-bit. I found this guy on Vintage Computer and he was giving his stuff away. He just wanted shipping for it. Needless to say, I figured I was too late, because he posted it almost a month before I saw the post. I PM'd the guy, just wondering if MAYBE he still had the stuff, since it seemed lots of folks were interested. Low and behold... he still had it. Talk about "luck"...maybe the Atari Gods knew I needed my own stuff! Anyways... I don't really know what else to talk about at this point in time. I am pretty excited, and I need to get it all set up. I have been told I need to find an SIO2PC thing...so that is the next thing on my agenda.
